Rob Flynn

I was a big twin peaks fan, I love this one so much lol

Maxwell Long

Possibly the best episode of the series?

Rob Flynn

If you get around to watching the OG Twin Peaks, come back and watch this. The Father / Pastor guy was an actor in Twin Peaks. There were several in this episode. :)

Ted Cali

Ahhh, definitely do yourself a favor and revisit this episode if you do ever watch Twin Peaks (which you should - first two seasons are a classic of modern tv and the 2017 revival is an absolute masterpiece). I agree that it’s good on its own, but it’s a thousand times better when you can pick up on the insane amount of references they crammed in. To point out the obvious one that answers some of your questions: the episode features 7 members of the original Twin Peaks cast, including Ray Wise who plays Father Westley, which is why he kind of randomly gets pulled into the episode.

Psych has the best homage episodes!

I could not agree more, especially if you’ve seen original source material. This one and 100 clues are two of my faves

Coco

I love the 100 clues one espescially that there were two different endings

There were actually a few different endings I think! I remember they did a voting for whose ending we wanted to see and the particular one they showed won. But they did show the other endings as well, I just can’t remember how many there were but I think it was at least 3.

Shana

Their tribute episodes always knock it out of the park - for me even though I’ve never seen Twin Peaks, I loved the episode anyway.

James Roday is so talented he has written 16 episodes of Psych and directed 8 including the best fucking episodes like s03e15 and s04e16
