So as many of you know I have enjoyed shows like The OC, Veronica Mars and Gilmore Girls.

My favorite show of all time is Friday Night Lights. So I love me some fun teen dramas and I can see that the community enjoys them as well.

I didn’t add any teen dramas to the list really but I think I should have.

So instead I will add a bunch of the teen drama I constantly hear are to this list and see what you guys and gals think.

Which one is worthy of more reactions on YouTube?

Comments

Yonnie

One tree hill omg it’s so good!!

Asaunte

One Tree Hill is so good. I'd love to see reactions for it

Mrs Payne

One tree hill abajausaaka

Michelle

One tree hill and euphoria!!!!!! Amazing shows and so far euphoria is only one season! Its perfect

folded

One Tree Hill

Anonymous

Dawson’s creek is so good and no one else reacts to it

Calvin Allen

Switched at Birth is so good. Hope you do watch it eventually

Emilio

One tree hill is really good!! It’s got a sport element as well as it revolves around a high school basketball team. One of my all time favourite shows.

Clay W

I haven’t seen all of these, but One Tree Hill is the one I’d watch. Greek is more comedy than drama, but it’s still good.

emmainkeri

I've never seen most of these but would definitely start watching with you! Really curious about One Tree Hill and Dawson's Creek. I'd honestly rather have you watch one of the older ones than Gossip Girl or PLL.

MT

OTH🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Zach Faulkner

Dawson’s creek is amazing and it’s what got me into teen dramas. OTH is also good. I wanted to watch a reaction to either of those so a week ago I searched for both. Found OTH reactions to subscribe to. Didn’t find any Dawson’s though.

Anonymous

Euphoria is the best one to react to. plzzzzz atleast the first episode

gabby

i would absolutely cry if you react to one tree hill...it’s my number 1 show EVER.

gabby

euphoria and pretty little liars are good too

Therese Larsen

Do not do Riverdale! Don’t do that to yourself. The first season is ok at best, but then it just goes to crap - but season 3 is god awful, and god knows what happened to season 4.. Don’t waste your time on that, do One tree hill 👍🏼 I think you’ll like that

Zack Meaney

Sex education is the best teen drama

Marie

ONE TREE HILL the show is so good ! I really think you would enjoy it

S

I love gossip girl but from seeing your pilot reaction I don’t think it would be your cup of tea if I’m honest. Skins would be very interesting as it’s a VERY British show and the pinnacle of teen drama so it would be fun to see what you think. It influenced a lot of the newer teen drama on the list. It was also written by a lot of teenagers I believe! I doubt it will win this poll but here’s to hoping! I don’t think there are any reactions to it right now.

Lynell Twiner

Not any show on list but have you thought of Prodigal Son?

Heidi Elizabeth Marcum

Definitely Greek. I am not a fan of most teenage dramas because they're all too cheesy, they have horrible angsty storylines that are all annoying, and they're badly acted most of the time. However, there are certainly some exceptions. I love Greek for reasons I can't really explain. I really like a few of it's main characters... one of whom is played by Scott Michael Foster, who plays Kristoff in season four of Once Upon a Time. He is the reason I first started watching this show because I love him as an actor in everything I've seen him in, and he's why I continued watching Greek too. I love his character very much. So Greek is a lot of fun and I would love to see your continued reactions for it!

Anonymous

one tree hill!! its such a feel-good show, would recommend dear white people cuz its GREAT but wouldnt call that a teen drama tbh

Anonymous

It's not on here but Skam is amazing! It has many different adaptations but the Norwegian one is the original and the best

Becca

I’ve never seen reactions to switched at birth and would love to see that

gabby

I know it’s not on the list but The Fosters is a great teen drama that no one reacts to and I would love to see one of you react to it. Maybe one day y’all could look into it

Nica Marie

My So Called Life isn't getting much love, but it's only one season so you'll be done pretty quick. Plus, it's greatness.

Stacey

Greek😍

Anitusar

I really like Joan of Arcadia as a teen drama, but I stand probably pretty alone for that one.

Nathan

ONE TREE HILL

Josie Ball

One Tree Hill is good don't get me wrong but it's a hard show to binge for me. Sometimes it was just too much and I needed a break with a comedy for awhile. I still haven't finished the series and started it 7 years ago!

AllieDoh

ONE TREE HILL! ALWAYS!

Shana

Skins! But only Gen 1 lol

Shauni Livingstone

I love one tree hill and Greek and i just finished my dawsons rewatch which was amazing but gossip girl ALWAYS.....although judging from ur other reactions I have a feeling u would hate certain characters 😄

Eleanor Layland

My So Called Life, totally underrated, Freaks and Geeks was also brilliant, If skins Original UK Version

ConsciousChronicle143

Its too bad yall are sleeping on Everwood. Realest shit you've ever watched 💯 if you give it a chance.

Kristin Carter

My So-Called Life is one of my favorite shows of all time, definitely essential viewing material for anyone who lived in the 90s and was angsty (like myself) and only 19 episodes total. Dawson's Creek would also be a fun show.

Christine

An old one that I’ve never seen anyone react to “Joan of Arcadia”

Sarah D8lr

Definitely one tree hill! I found it super easy to get though, it has great moments. Gossip girl is also a good one I like but I am not sure if it would be your style.

thisismaria27

One Tree Hill is the best teen drama of all time imho, but you've also put some other very good ones on that list. :)

Teeoni Leigh

Gossip girl Is amazing but I think that you would perhaps enjoy pretty little liars more

madeline z

pretty little liars was the blueprint

Teeoni Leigh

Another suggestion which isn’t on the list but think you would love is a British show called the inbetweeners. It’s a comedy with only about 18 episodes but there’s also two movies so wouldn’t take you long too watch it. It’s a comedy about 4 school boys and the fact it’s based in England makes it different to a lot of American shows. I know there was an American remake but the majority of people don’t enjoy it. I’ve seen other reactors watch it and they seem to really enjoy it and it might be a nice break and something different to the other shows you watch.

lila22

Pretty little liars, Riverdale or gossip girl. Are my favorites

Dana Hanson

I feel like I’m the only person who freakin hates one tree hill😂

Emily

ONE TREE HILL FOR THE WIN

Emily

Maybe you can slide in Euphoria too since it’s only one season out at the moment and has only 10 eps so it wouldn’t take as long to finish 👀

Jojo77

My So Called Life is just one season and gives you some big name actors in their first big roles. Freaks and Geeks would be worth considering for the same resons.

Nan A

Pretty Little Liars would make for a good reaction. I am not a fan of the show anymore but knowing Steven he would definitely be into it and it make for a great reaction.

Anaïs

Honestly, to me, Gossip Girl is the one worth watching, plus the reboot is on the way. But yeah, we have a palette of characters and the story in entertaining. For those who want OTH, guys, it's a nice show, but like, A LOT of reactors are already reacting to it, same for the PLL, Gossip Girl isn't watch a lot. That's my opinion anyway,

Jojo77

For relatively short very funny teen shows, I'd also mention The Inbetweeners and Derry Girls.

TheMew

I like Dawson's, and One Tree Hill is one of my favorites. I also really liked Pretty Little liars great characters and lots of great twists and turns with the mystery.

TheMew

I also like the story and characters in Switched at birth

codenamewitch xx

Would love to see you watch One Tree Hill!!! I can see you getting super invested in this town

Bree6v6

Greek is so under appreciated, I can’t explain how much I adore the series. If you are looking for a fun drama Greek is the way to go!

Bree6v6
>>47954952

I completely agree Scott Michael Foster is really a gem and he really shines in Greek.

gabby
>>47957765

please tell me other reactors who are doing it because i only know of one...i’d really like to watch whoever is reacting to it

Collector of Stuff

Yeah. You lost me on this poll (not as a patron, just a voter). Never a fan of any of these.

Alexis Cardarella

Dear White People is great, but it’s more along the lines of young adult.

Mariella Nilsson

One tree hill is very good! It is definatly worth a watch! Freeks and geeks is amazing, only one season!

Deirdre

I think you'd enjoy pretty little liars, also someone else mentioned Derry Girls..there is 2 seasons so far with 6 episodes each, its funny with some drama!

Angel Garcia

My vote is for switched at birth. It shows a new culture of the Deaf community.

Nicole Giesbrecht

Dawson’s creek and one tree hill are both on my top 5 favorite shows although Dawson’s creek has less seasons so it’s easier to binge. I also like Beverly Hills 90210 the original one which they have on Hulu but pretty much every season has about 3 to 5 episodes that are skipped over throughout the season and probably even more then that in the later seasons of the show.

Nicole Giesbrecht

Friday Night Lights and Hart of Dixie are also really good although Hart Of Dixie is leaving Netflix in December.

Ida Eriksson

You should watch Skam ( the original from Norway). Im not a huge fan of teenage dramas, but this feels pretty real.

I Am Not Chamari

One Tree Hill is my favorite show of all time and I think really fits well with shows like Friday Night Lights and The OC. It is very angsty and super dramatic at times, but I think is a show with a lot of heart! I will also stick up for Switched At Birth because it's a super good, super underrated teen drama. A lot of people voted for Gossip Girl and Pretty Little Liars, but that doesn't seem much your style. However, they are both very fun and messy. I personally love PLL but understand that it's not everyone's vibe.

inga lola

The first two seasons of Switched at Birth will definitely take your breath away, I bet a 100 bucks you will like it a lot, no just your average "teen" drama, it was very well written and acted, they got a lot of nominations and awards for it, last season a big downfall to crap though. I would say starting mid season 3 it became the usual soapy drama, I think they change a executive producer at some point and it became a billboard for teenage issues instead of the great show it once was

Danielle

For people voting for Gossip Girl.. who in the show do you think Steven is going to actually like? They're all so unlikable and Steven will be complaining about their antics every episode. Are you trying to drive this man crazy? haha!!

mrvlgrl

Felicity was created by JJ Abrams and Matt Reeves (currently directing the new Batman movie). This was one of the few shows I actually talked back to the screen. And my partner, tho he technically didn’t watch it (he was in the room), liked to poke fun at the way all the characters said, “Hey” every time someone entered a room. Felicity is definitely up there with Gilmore Girls (which my partner also didn’t “watch”, but was still invested enough to scream towards the end of season 1 “No! She’s supposed to be with Luke!” 😂).

Adrian

y’all are sleeping on 90210 and gossip girl 😔 i feel like a couple of ppl are doing one tree hill already

Fly on the Wall

Man, I would watch almost all of these reactions.

MarkyO

Bro... Euphoria is miles ahead of any fucking show on that list.

Raven

No one does Dawson's Creek omg pls do it. It's so slept on.

Michelle

I completely disagree with this, anyone can watch a teen drama if they want to, doesn't matter if you are a teen or 90 years old, it's not limited to a certain age.

cil

gossip girl, one tree hill, and dawson's creek are classics but very formulaic with typical teen drama storylines. i think you would enjoy euphoria the most though because it's a little darker and grittier. the first few seasons of pretty little liars are good and you may enjoy the mystery element. but fair warning...that show drags and goes down hill around the middle of the series. it becomes hard to stick with after a certain point so if you do choose that show, i won't be mad if you don't react to the entire series.

Maddie

I think skins and euphoria in my opinion. Please not riverdale though

Ray D

Dawson’s Creek or the original Beverly Hills 90210 would be epic for the 90s early 2000s of it all. The show iZombie is made by the same people who made Veronica Mars and it has a similar sensibility as far as jokes, storyline, weekly cases, and a plucky blond female lead. Also many Veronica Mars actors show up. Some in cameos and some as semi regulars. It would be a seamless replacement for VM

Teresina

If you start One Tree Hill, you’d have to do some binges, otherwise it will take you the better part of a decade to finish it.

Jojo77
>>47968673

Popularity does not necessarily coincide with quality sadly. Euphoria is definitely the most quality show on the list. Followed by MSCL imo, but others could debate that as a second choice.

Marquis

I’d say “Euphoria” because it’s only 8 episodes so it’ll be easy to get through along with the fact that it’s a good show. “Everwood” was really good from what I remember (I watched it as a teen when it was on so it might not have aged well lol), also I haven’t seen anyone else react to it so you’d be the only thing to come up in the algorithm so there’s that 🤷🏾‍♂️

Jojo77

As someone who was in high school when it aired, My So Called life is definitely the most realistic portrayal of adolescence ever done for network tv.

Lydia Anderson

Skins!! The British series, not the American version. It has wonderful writing and performances and is totally worth the watch. A close second for me is Dawson's Creek, simply because it is iconic and such a late 90's vibe. That said, I'd be way, way more interested in reactions to Skins than to Dawson's. Just my opinion, anyway :)

Sade L.

Gossip Girl is just too good....a classic

Ray D

Freaks and Geeks is another great one and would be good to react to because it’s only 1 season so it could be something that wouldn’t take as long to do as some of the others. It has plenty of actors that would go on to be big stars like James Franco, Linda Cardelini, Seth Rogan, Jason Segal, Busy Philips, and more. Plus it was run by Judd Apatow and Paul Feig who are both big time directors now. It’s really great

Fizzy

My favorites from that list are Gossip Girl and Greek. I haven’t seen Euphoria, but I really think that’s a strong choice also since it’s short and critically acclaimed . Pretty Little Liars is not a good show but reactions to it could be really entertaining. It’s better than most comedies in terms of humor. It’s so over the top ridiculous.

electricroad

I really think you will love One Tree Hill. It is an OG teen drama classic in the same vein as the OC. It has interesting characters you can root for and real drama and family dysfunction, not just shiny high school BS. I'm a big teen drama fan and OTH is one of my all-time favorites.

Quantoto

While I would love to see a reaction to Beverly Hills 90210 I caution you against watching it because when they released it for streaming many episodes were all cut up/edited strangely because of music rights.

damien mcmanus

Watch skins it is amazing, but avoid the american version

Tammy L. Faulkner

Looks like Gossip Girl and OTH are in the winning spots... two shows, no matter how hard I tried never could get into. Beverly Hills, 90210 was and still is THE BEST teen drama. Besides all the drama, it was also a great learning show... it dealt with every issue people have in life. Literally THE most underappreciated series with kids today... even bk then ppl underestimated it because it's full of "pretty" people, "what would pretty people know about real life"... that was always annoy me... just because they see "pretty people with money" they wouldn't watch the show back then. Ppl just never give it a chance. 90210, the reboot, was ok... I guess. Pretty Little Liars I not really a teen drama in the traditional sense, but I loved watching it!

Lea Connor

Nope haven't watched any of them. But enjoy

Danielle

I voted for Greek because it's a fun and underrated show with amazing friendships. But I also love Dawson's Creek (small town vibes), One Tree Hill (lots of family drama), Gossip Girl (over the top drama). Both 90210 shows are fun for different reasons and while I didnt finish Switched at Birth, I liked what I saw.

john segun doe

Bro im 24 and hand to god i for sure aint for watching teen drama show even when i was a TEEN but when "iiiiiiii don't wanna be anything other than what I been lately" theme song came on broski that had my ass on the cushion so fast. The WB was the shit. It's One Tree Hill for me

Molly C

Omg someone commented Skam and yes please!!! The original Norwegian preferably but the 7 remakes are good too

Ray D
>>47980830

I’m in my late 30s I grew up on BH 90210, Party of Five, and Dawson’s Creek. I never got interested in OTH or Gossip Girl. It would be a bummer to me if those two won. Oh well

Therese Larsen
>>47965018

Omg that’s actually true haha!! I mean I love Blair but I don’t know how he would feel about her. He sure wouldn’t like any of the others 😳

Marissa Brady

Beverly Hills 90210 should be number one priority if you are starting to react to teen dramas. it was the first ever teen drama show to be created. None of the other shows would even exist if it weren’t for Beverly Hills 90210. I don’t think anyone has ever reacted to it either which is very sad.

S

Having watched pll as a teen and loved then hated it I highly DO NOT recommend it to react to. I honestly think you’d hate it

Kathryn Cottam

Skins (the original UK version though), Dawson’s Creek, Beverly Hills 90210, Party of Five. Also react to the original UK version of Shameless(it’s much better than the US version).

Samantha
>>48010544

Idk it's not terrible. I do agree it may not be his thing completely but the mystery would sink him in. But i'm a huge fan still am even as an adult so.

Samantha

Pretty Little Liars and Secret Life of the American Teenager are cheesy teen drama's but I actually liked them still do some of it's cheesy but there's things that do draw you in like the character's and their stories. Switched at Birth is one of my favorites for sure for actual serious drama if you like that and not cheesy drama/mystery/teenage stories. It's that but on top of it they deal with real issues

Siti Dee

I've only ever seen Skins of all of these lmao I would only watch for the first two seasons tho

Jtozee

I feel like there’s a bunch of people reacting to one tree hill right now

Chris Jackson

I like The O.C. Iv'e watched it 4 times.

Anonymous

Felicity would be pretty original I don’t think anyone is reacting to it, so it gets my vote

Sarah

Felicity is one of the most underrated shows ever. I rewatch this show on occasion.

Sade L.

I’m so sick of OTH reactions at this point...not to mention it would literally take 10 years to finish all of the seasons 🙄

Renee Pope-Munro

Felicity and the OG 90210 are CRIMINALLY underrated. OTH is *just* too long, and Gossip Girl and Dawson's already have some reactors on them.

Renee Pope-Munro

Anicrunch,, David Wilde’s, and That Guy Who Shall Not Be Watched 😒

Andrea

The 100 / Technically not a teen drama, but it still feels like one :D
