Yes Marzipan is almond paste with lots of sugar and eggs, it is incredibly sweet, I love it but it's usually something you like or you don't. They make great one in Sicily! Didn't realize it was also a Swiss thing

Andrea

The ingredients sound fine in Marzipan but the grossness of it for me is in the texture. It's like...mealy hardened paste, lol. Also it's generally too sweet for my tastes.

AmyWonderland92

I can't stand Marzipan! It's got such a horrible taste and texture! I know Jason is a bit of an odd guy, but I kinda like him with Lorelai. I can't wait for the next episodes it's one of my favourites!

It's weird to me that americans don't know marzipan. it's pretty much common food in my country (I'm from Austria).

We usually use marzipan as cake decoration .. so it's a mixture in the texture usually.

I enjoyed your reaction to this a little too much. Every time Paris talks about Asher and you grimace, it's the best! LOL

I found it a little weird that Rory was blindsided by Asher teaching her class. It would totally be a Rory thing to have looked up all her professors and be purposely taking classes with the academically renowned ones.
