Content

Because of the bandwidth issues we have been having I just wanted to know which you use. At the moment I have 3 dropbox accounts and I’m slowly moving the files that don’t work to another. I have 2 drive accounts but I will  be adding another. vimeo is a lot more expensive and is giving me issues. I started using Streamable but not many are using it so I will be looking for another service similar to Dropbox and Drive.

If those below could comment on which you use and why you use it over the other that would help me out.

Also those who know what other content creators use please comment below with other services so I can look into them.

Comments

Jayden Jones

I’ve seen a lot of ppl use Onehub before for reactions

Nikita Pascari

Google drive, fast download never any issues. Never stream personally.

Jenni Laine

I use Vimeo the most since I always watch on my mobile so I dont need to download them and the quality on mobile is better on Vimeo than for example Google Drive.

Lynell Twiner

I use Dropbox, haven't had issues

pholla

I will use any service that doesn't require me to download! 🤓

Valencia Lanier

I’ve been using Vimeo cause I Airplay it from my phone to the tv but if it costs $7k, then I’ll gladly use something else. I saw Streamable on one of the episodes I watched and didn’t think about it but I’ll try it.

Danielle

Vimeo out of habit but no issue using whatever is more convenient for you. If the video plays then I have no preference

DelGuy03

I tend to use Google drive most, for no particular reason except I'm most familiar with it (and it facilitates downloading if I choose to do that, which I don't often). But I've used all 3, and they're all workable for me.

gabby

I always used vimeo because it’s quick and simple for me no downloads or anything but 7k is way too much so I’ll gladly use the other services. I’ve had troubles with using Google Drive because on my phone I cant get it to where I can watch the videos full screen. I think I’ve had dropbox before and it was okay. Never heard of Streamable but I’ll check it out

Finley

I watch on my phone using Dropbox, most other apps or websites don’t go full screen or even work at all on here. I used to watch through Vimeo but it wouldn’t work 75% of the time so I switched over to Dropbox as the other Patreon I’m subscribed to uses that and it always worked.

Ryan Beall

I use both google drive and drop box

Lorna

Vimeo - I add the new stuff to my “watch later” as soon as it comes out, then it’s ready to go on the tv. Sounds pricey though.

Christine

I picked Google, but I use Dropbox, too

MidnightSilver

Drop Box works well on my phone. I find Google Drive can be a bit slower but it’s a good back up. the Vimeo format doesn’t suit me.

Ariana Anderson

I use Google drive the most I used to do dropbox but I feel like I have to refresh it alot cause it would tend to freeze if I try to rewind it if I miss a part. So I have to restart the app. I did like vinmo because on that I could broadcast it the others I cant but that's not a deal breaker i still enjoy watching it on the other apps. So do whatever is easiest/ cheapest for you guys.

Anatol

Can't believe the only option with a reasonable player takes the last spot... seems like you have many Patreons who aren't technically skilled... (No offense at all!) - Edit: since it changed in the meanwhile, I was talking about Google Drive...

Crow

I use Dropbox on my phone but I use googledrive on pc

Primus

Google always, unless the quality I get is only 360p

CallingCollins

I mostly use Vimeo but I have no problem switching to any of the other ones. Google Drive is super easy to use and the audio etc. is good too. I'm down with whatever is easier for you!

Eden

The streamable one is actually pretty good, I accidentally clicked it instead of another link and it played fine

thisismaria27

I use dropbox on my laptop, but google drive on my phone bc dropbox has audio issues on phones .. so google drive is really important to keep I think ..

Chastity Deatherage

Google drive because it works best for me on my phone which is where I watch from.

Tammy L. Faulkner

Misty I use Vimeo, it's the only one that works on all my devices, but will also use Dropbox sometimes. Google drive gives me a lot of issues.

Pho3nixX

I watch someone that uses onehub & never have issues with it. Mostly I prefer Dropbox which seems to download quicker for me

Shana

Dropbox typically, however sometimes it won’t let me use full screen on my phone so in that case I switch to Vimeo.

Jojo77

I almost always stream rather than download. I use Google unless the file isn't ready yet and then I jump to one of the others. I go to dropbox next because I'm to lazy to click a second time to submit a password if I can avoid it.

Tracy R

Use Dropbox the most. Google drive doesn’t work on my phone properly

Anitusar

Mostly dropbox. Vimeo when dropbox doesn't like me that day. Goggle has the most issues with my home network setup, so I do not use that atm. Alternative that other reactors use that works for me is onehub.com

Ghost Mom

I mostly use Vimeo because dropbox lags and google sometimes glitches out, but if Vimeo is the most complicated/expensive for you I'm fine with which ever platform is easier for you

SuperEllen

I mostly use Dropbox, but just because I'm watching older seasons of several series and the full season on Dropbox is linked in every new episode, which makes it easier for me to find all the episodes at once. But I'm pretty much okay with watching anything you use, as long as it's easy to find the link to older seasons in the new posts.

Veronica _R_T

I use vimeo because I can watch the reactions on my television. And it also consistently has the best quality. I will work with what is best for you though.

nj

i mostly stream over vimeo now. before you added vimeo, i struggled with streaming through either dropbox or drive and generally had to download anything i wanted to watch (plus: not sure it's still an issue, but dropbox used to cut off streams at an hour, so even when i was somewhere with a decent connection for streaming i'd usually still download). at the time, i preferred downloading through dropbox over drive because it was much faster for me - not sure if that would still be true. i switched from downloading through dropbox to streaming on vimeo because i was frustrated with what appeared to be a change to the dropbox app's interface. (when i had started downloading episodes through dropbox, there was a little progress bar so i could judge whether to wait for a download to finish before going underground or see if it was stuck and i needed to cancel and try again. at some point that bar disappeared for me and i'd have no idea if a download was going to take 3 minutes or 15, or if it was creeping along or completely stuck.) i haven't tried recently, so it may not be a problem anymore. anyway, this is why i've been using vimeo since you asked, but the problems i previously had with the other platforms may have resolved in the meantime and, bottom line, i can adapt to whatever makes the most sense for you.

cryptc

I like vimeo since I can cast from the app on my phone to my chromecast with vimeo. It's been behaving a bit wonky for me on pc though, so I have been watching some episodes on dropbox or google drive too.

Veronica

I use dropbox mostly, but sometimes it doesn't work so the next is Google

mrvlgrl

Vimeo because I can actually download from there. Dropbox started dropping my download if it was near or over 1gb, so I haven't used it in around two months. Sometimes happens with Google, too. But it never happens with Vimeo. I can stream okay from Google but Dropbox glitches a lot. I don't usually stream from Vimeo. Some of the other Patrons I sub to only use Dropbox and I have fallen behind watching them because I prefer to download/not get glitched out. I've been debating whether to continue subbing to them because of this problem, but I still want to support them. (also, I have the unlimited data plan from my ISP so it's not that)

sn

I’m used to Vimeo but I’ll start trying the other links to see if they work better for me

Mark Wood

Primary is drop box, Vimeo when I want to pick the quality level of the download. Google only if I can't get the other to work, for whatever reason.

Dedra

I usually watch the videos on Vimeo but if that's not available I tend to use Google Drive. I've also seen other creators post videos on Onehub, but I'm not familiar myself with its bandwidth limits, costs, etc.

Anonymous

Not trying to rush you but when do you think the old Dropbox would be fixed

Andrea

I use Vimeo to watch them on my TV.

AllieDoh

I usually use Dropbox, but streamable has worked really well for me the few OTH reactions.

cruzinbosco

A download option is a must for those of us who don't have amazing internet. I use whatever is listed first between Google Drive and Dropbox. As long as there is a download option, I am happy. I don't use Vimeo because there is no download option.

Amanda Winner

Vimeo first as it seems to have the highest quality footage, Dropbox second

Jason Usher

I use Vimeo but I’m not picky, I’ll use whatever you have there and it’ll be ok

Siti Dee

Vimeo works best for me. Google drive second!

Anonymous

I use vimeo or google drive. Dropbox is usually fine for the shows you are watching, but if anything runs longer than an hour it cuts off because of the preview. I know that it's supposed to be different in the app or if you download, but I haven't had luck with that. The app tells me to buy a subscription past a certain GB and the times I've tried to download, the video doesn't have any sound. I've seen other reactors get around these problems by just breaking up their reactions into two videos if they go over an hour and that has worked perfectly. If you did that, I'd probably start using dropbox more often. Hope that helps!

Nicole Christie

I mainly use dropbox but I'll use vimeo too when i fell like typing in a code

Melissa

I used to use vimeo but vimeo has started bugging out for me and so I switched to dropbox but you can't rewind/fast forward with the keyboard, so now I've settled into using google drive.

Andrea

I tend to use Dropbox because it is most familiar to me, then move to Google drive or vimeo if I have trouble with it, but issues with any of them are usually like once a week for me at most, so I don't really have a preference based on typical use, just habit.

WB

I kinda just pick one so i dont really care. Whatever works best for you

Julia 🍌

Dropbox and Google drive dont always open immediately for me. Don't know why, but the vimeo is the most reliable in my case..

Jana Fuller

I use Vimeo but idk honestly I’ll use whatever is easiest for y’all

Aaron

Vimeo is the only one that I can AirPlay to the TV from my phone, so if I am doing that, I use Vimeo. If I’m watching on my phone or computer, I just use Dropbox so I don’t have to deal with putting in a password.

Lena

From what I've seen, Google Drive seems to be the most common among reactors. It's my preference when watching your videos as it's never really given me issues (unlike other two) and is faster - not just to watch but also downloads much more efficiently. If I absolutely had to use something else, it'd be Dropbox as Vimeo gives me too much trouble, though Dropbox still has to be downloaded if I want any success in watching it.

Jayna

I tend to use drop box but I've also used Google drive and vimeo. Honestly not a big deal for me to use whatever streaming service you wish to use as long as it plays.

Anonymous

Also, another react channel I watch posts their uncut reactions to Youtube as private/unlisted videos. Then they just share the link with their patrons.

Nan A

Honestly I use Vimeo.. but whatever works is fine..

Meredith
>>64133812

If you use chrome browser and log in, google drive will work on your phone for full screen

Bec van til

Dropbox never works for me so I use Vimeo

Sufyaan Kazi

Dropbox and Vimeo are the only options that let you cast to a TV or play with VLC. Giggle drive is always unreliable, I have to download the file first which doesn't always work before I can cast it
