I honestly agree. Brandon is a bit obsessive when it comes to Callie. I get he thinks he is in love, I mean he is a teenager so it is to be expected but he is doing a lil too much. Mariana is a bit naive. You can tell she doesn't have much experience in relationships not only romantically but also just in general, which is why she is caught of guard when Kelsey plays her.
