So I have been noticing that the number of views for Doctor Who have been extremely low for the last two seasons. It is why the show has been more inconsistent.

So I wanted to ask you a question about further Doctor Who Reactions.

I know we have past the seasons that everyone loves and these later ones are not ones people want to see as much so below is a poll with options.

Comments

Clara Gros-Louis

Are you gonna give the semi-reboot a shot starting with the 60th anniversary that aired this weekend?

Anais Winter

Maybe start with the new specials from 2023 and the new Doctor afterwards. The old showrunner is back.

Primus

I'm biased so I'm sorry to others who love Dr. Who. But I definitely would like to see something else instead. I've been pushing for Fringe for over a year now (ever since Steven finished POI and everyone from there saw it as the next show after POI) maybe Steven will finally have time to see it!! One can only hope. At the very least, without Dr. Who there'll be one less burden for you guys. Cheers!

Verth37

you've pretty much reacted to the good stuff of dr who so i would love to see brian watch it

Problem is, Fringe isn't going to do better than Doctor Who in terms of views (Doctor Who is an internationally famous show) and he'll eventually replace that too unless he happens to like the show himself and wants to keep it up. And this is coming from someone who doesn't like Doctor Who, but am not blind to it's immense popularity. This is why gaps happened with The Office, White Collar, etc. Cause those do poor views compared to all the Disney channel stuff.

WB

I understand the value of polls and view counts, but ultimately I prefer reactors react to stuff they actually want to watch. Not saying that is or isn't doctor who. Just my preference overall.

Jojo77

Let Brian start if he wants to. I don't want to be too spoilery, but I know you guys watch trailers sometimes so it's not that big a deal to say Steven should watch the grown-up, completely out of universe Doctor Who cast remix that is Broadchurch and see if that reignites his interest in continuing the later seasons and if it does pick it up again, if it doesn't, c'est la vie. I say this only because my interest in Doctor Who came from watching so many actors associated with Doctor Who in other things, Broadchurch in particular. I love all your reactions and watch many, but no Steven, I'm never going to shut up about it. lol.

Jonathan Giles

Not really too bothered. Still hoping torchwood happens though...... Thanks

Jason

I'd like you to continue weekly Steven as long as your still wanting to. Your not miles off being caught up at this point anyway but I'd be lying to say I'm watching every single full length this late into your Who journey so if it was fortnightly I wouldn't be against. Do what makes you happy though.

Clara Gros-Louis

I’m sorry but if Doctor Who goes, then I go.

Omar Vargas

Replace it with DARK on Netflix

Teeoni Leigh

I think you’ve got past the best part of who and you don’t seem to be enjoying them as much so I would LOVE to see you react to torchwood and maybe Brian starts doctor who because you loved the beginning so much so would love to see some more reactions.

Jeremy Burch

I'm fine with you no longer continuing Doctor Who reactions if your not interested but it would be great if you could finish the rest of the season which ends Peter Capaldi's run as the Doctor and Steven Moffat's run as the showrunner. There's only 4 episodes and a special left, it would be great if you could finish that at whatever pace you feel like. I actually thought the ending of the season and the special were pretty great.

Denise McClymont

How about canceling dr who and maybe continue with nashville I know Steven liked it and it was getting really good when he stopped reacting to it

Chelsea

:/ If you’re truly no longer interested I do not want you to be forced to watch. In my opinion Capaldi is a great actor and a good doctor but the writing wasn’t the best for him!! Doctor who was one one the first reasons I subscribed Can you at least finish this season? Then maybe Brian can take it over it. Or he can just start 13 since it’s different from the other seasons. I will try and comment every episode. Lol but as I said I don’t want there to be an obligation to do it, but I would be appreciative if you finish the last few episodes of this season!

If you like the reactions, it would helpful to be more interactive and comment when new episodes are uploaded. Looking at the poll results it looks limit may get the boot.

Gravityfair

I can’t believe how many people don’t want more doctor who! I’m really surprised! I also haven’t been watching the recent reactions, but that’s because you have now surpassed where I stopped watching and I wanted to catch up first and then go back and watch your reactions. Honestly, doctor who is the whole reason I first started watching you and I’ll be honest that I’ll be really sad and disappointed if the show gets cut completely. So if your bro would like to start it I would be SO EXCITED. Judging by the votes, I doubt this will happen, but seriously. I love doctor who. 😫

I'd rather you started a show that's been promised for this channel, like Charmed. I know it's a replacement for Buffy but maybe without Dr Who, you could either start now or double up on Buffy/Angel reactions so we could finish those faster and get to Charmed sooner. Or, alternatively, another British banger like Broadchurch or Sherlock BBC. Excited to see what your decision is, Steven! 💜

I Am Not Chamari

I know that this show wouldn't be a replacement for Doctor Who, but I'd really love if you could react to "This Is Us." It's gotten a little bit of love on the polls, but didn't win anything, but I just think we are in dire need of a series like this on the channel.

Yes to Charmed!! Seriously I'm so excited to see someone react to that show.

MONIAH ADAMS

I’m binge watching David’s reactions to castle and love the show! I saw someone on the channel say they loved the show but I was wondering if anyone else would be willing to react to it. I’m kind of bummed that David didn’t make it to the best parts…..

Jana Fuller

I'm dying for you to do charmed!!!!!!

Robke
>>87529721

Well if you also didnt watch last couple of seasons, where most people lost interest, I guess you might be expecting the show to still have as many interesting stuff as previous seasons :) if you did watch the last parts you might feel differently

Robke
>>87530304

Wait, Charmed has been promised?🤩 How did I miss that? I thought the votes were close but didn't actually win. That's awesome. Hope he likes it. What other shows are on the wait list?

Robke
>>87530304

Chosen One Reactions channel on YouTube and also patreon has awesome reactions to charmed :)

Robke

Literally 17 episodes of Nikita left 🙏🏻😄 I think you stopped during that weird hand cut off and get it back phase, but that quickly passes and it goes back to awesomeness. One of the shows that didn't ruin the ending.

Gravityfair
>>87529721

I have heard that the newer seasons aren’t as good and I’ve honestly been having a hard time getting used to Capaldi and Clara (even though I’m more than halfway done with season 8). But because I love everything before that, I would still enjoy seeing a new reaction to the show. Anyway. Not the end of the world if it doesn’t happen. I’d just be a bit disappointed.

Nyssa Rawther 🍉
>>87530304

We were asked to pick 2 shows during that poll. Didn't OG Charmed and Grey's win by a landslide? I'm gonna be gutted for real if OG Charmed gets scrapped...

Robke
>>87530304

I remember it scored high, but didn't see Steven saying it's confirmed that it won.

Chelsea

Can Brian start My So called life? It’s such a short series, I would really love if it could be finished.

Marissa Brady

Maybe replace it with Old Doctor Who? Old Doctor who has some incredible storylines that are definitely worthy of reactions! I have seen both old Doctor Who and New Doctor who, and some of my favorite episodes came from the black and white era. I also found the Daleks and the Cybermen to be creepier in black and white then in color.

Jorgen Karlsson

If you don't enjoy it I wouldn't blame you if you stopped. The original series could be fun to watch, especially now that many classic stories are being and has been animated. It could also be a good time to finish off The Expanse or start some british sitcoms like Coupling, Not Going Out or Blackadder, some that could be almost considered limited short series.

Magus

I think you could have at least finished the season. Twice upon a time is a fun xmas episode to end Capaldis era you were so close to finishing might as well have at least gotten through to a better stopping point. Though of all your reactions you seem the least interested in that. You also have to keep in mind the majority of the people voting against who on this poll are people who are here more for all the teenager drama shows and had no interest in any doctor who at all so they just want you to quit who to focus more on the teenage garbage that makes me not stick around. I just come back every few months to quickly binge few the few shows you do that I actually like. Cant blame you for going with what the people want though since it keeps a good consistent pledge count apparently.

Magus
>>87702622

no disrespect but i think this would be an awful idea. you can see how few people on his patreon seem to even care about modern who. i dunno if he would enjoy classic who its so low budget and he hates dalek and cybermen stories and thats like half of classic who. in case you didnt notice how every time its a cyberman episode his head is buried in his phone for 20+ minutes of the episodes

Magus
>>88185650

classic is too long winded. they padded the crap out of those stories to be able to stretch out the viewing content as much as possible. the run time could lend itself well to amazing stories but very few of them are actually good enough to warrant the extra time given. look at gunslingers as an example. if we cut that damn recap singing every scene change the story would be 2 episodes long
