Howdy ladies and gents,

So here is the update about what's happening for the first few months of the new year. I talk about why we have moved on from Suits, what's happening with House and what shows we are trying to bring back and start.

The goal is to Bring some more different kind of stuff back and start shows that are not your typical shows that we are doing.

If you have any Question Leave Them Below and I will try to answer them.

You should finish suits, only 3 seasons left!

Omar Vargas

Hopefully when you have time you can react to dark which is also a short series as well on Netflix original

thisismaria27

thank you so much for this update video! I love hearing your thought process regarding your patreon channel. I think you're doing the right thing with how you guys wanna move forward. Personally I love Suits a lot for instance but I agree that the best seasons are the first 5 and you already moved past that, so I understand. I have a question though: on one of your polls I made a small comment about bringing Nikita back and surprisingly to me A LOT of people agreed. Is there a chance you might continue that too? There is not much left of it either (just about 20 episodes). Thank you :)

Yes Nikita & Battlestar are both shows I want to try to bring back and finish. That Along with Lucifer and The Witcher.

CallingCollins

Thanks for the video, I enjoy hearing what you have to say and I respect the decisions you are making for your channel. I believe this is the best for your channel. Although being spoiled with movies is great, more is not always best. I'll be here through the New Year 🫰

Do people DM you about House and say this stuff? Because I've been keeping a close eye on the comments, and there's only constant encouragement to keep watching, didn't see negative stuff you mentioned at all. Thing with House is, people are only interested in certain storylines, so some of them might be skipping and waiting for their favorites to come, doesn't mean they're done with the show. People also like to talk negatively about a show they never even watched and push something else in it's place just to have their own favorites ;D negative voices are the loudest ones, while those who are happy with how things are just watch and stay quiet.

Robke

Oh and if you will do another poll for which shows to continue, pls add Nikita. 3rd season is nearly done and 4th has only 6 episodes ;D you're probably closer to finishing that one than anything else

Charné Langtry

Thanks for the update, super excited for The Queens Gambit :)

Robke

True Blood won one of the polls, I'm not sure if it's a replacement for something, or possible future addition, but I didn't see any update about it. So what will happen with it?

nj

thank you for the update, and for your efforts to be responsive to "what the people want." fwiw, related to house numbers, i'm one who was watching it super regularly before, like same day you posted it or the next - then for various reasons i fell behind and i'm still trying to catch up. maybe others are in a similar boat, if there are more people voting to keep the show going than it seems are watching? about past shows you may go back to, i'm wondering if my so-called life is one? i think in the last episode you had posted (or one of the last) you said you planned to just knock out the rest of the season/series quickly because there wasn't much left, and then it seems like plans changed. i know i'm one of, like, five people here who were really into it and that you have to allocate your efforts to things that are more popular. but i'm wondering if you still plan to finish the show at some point - and, even if it doesn't make sense for you to do reaction videos for each remaining episode, whether you'd consider watching the rest without filming it and maybe doing a recap video with your thoughts about those episodes and the series as a whole? i think you were starting to appreciate (and somewhat enjoy?) the show, and i'd be really interested to know what you think about it, as someone who watches and evaluates a lot of shows from overlapping genres and/but did NOT come of age in the same era as angela, ricky, rayanne, and the handful of us who were following the show on patreon. in any case, thanks again for being you and doing what you do. 🙂

There are a lot of great "short" shows out there, so I am very happy about this announcement! On Amazon: Jack Ryan only has 8 episodes per season and its 3rd season is just starting now, so not that many episodes to go through on that one. Also, Andor on Disney Plus was phenomenal.

Ariana Anderson

Is Brian going to keep doing that '70s show?

cruzinbosco

Thanks for the update. Question: Is Brian going to be doing Gilmore Girls? I know it came in 2nd place on the poll after Teen Wolf, but I notice he started Psych (which came in 3rd), so I am curious. It's fine if he's not, I just want to know if I should be expecting it or not. If not, I will start it over (again) on my own. I already watched your reactions to it multiple times. :)

oh i hope he does!! i think he'd enjoy it a lot. he loves BMW a lot and is so empathetic to the storylines i can see him really enjoying GG and we do need more reactions to it out there. it's such a comfort show, i'd easily watch both it and psych over again with him.

AllieDoh

I appreciate this update! If House really is just draining your time and the numbers are truly bad, then feel free to replace! I wish I could see you watch the final season, but if its not doing anything for you anymore, move on... That being said, Criminal Minds is a procedural show. Lots of character stuff in between, for sure, but it is very much based on the cases per episode/several episodes(depending on the arc of the case.) I do think it's an untapped barrel though because there are LEGIONS of fans, and nobody (that I know of) does reactions.

AllieDoh

Also, in regards to *short* shows, The Sex Lives Of College Girls is a really great show that could replace a comedy, maybe Schitts creek, if you don't already have something lined up!

I do know that Simple Reactions reacts to it if you are interested in that. Just thought I'd mention it. He has done loads of shows. :)

Mariella Nilsson🍉

Allot of The shows I have watched here are finished, if you would consider doing two one three hill a week, or Brian two big bang theory I would be super happy😊

Sofie

I think for House maybe you could do just key episodes like series premiere and finales and some fan favourites. I more or less fell off House but always tuned in to those episodes myself. You could still watch it on your own like you planned but just do reactions for those episodes. I think it would make those episodes have good views and it would skip the more "procedural" episodes and you could get done quicker with House (have space for something else) and people also get to see you react to the finale of the show. Even as someone who didn't watch all of House I would like to see you react to the series finale but I am probably not going to being watching weekly. So I understand that you wouldn't want to continue, but maybe this could be a solution.

I Am Not Chamari

Loving this update! So happy to hear Brian is starting Abbott Elementary!! It’s such a fantastic show and MADE for reactions!

Melissa

I know you've got a lot of shows on the waitlist so to speak but just wanted to throw in 12 Monkeys as a potential show. It's a great sci-fi show with 47 episodes (4 seasons) so not too long.

Terri

Thanks for the update! It's helpful to know what's coming.

Molly C

love the guaranteed new ones you announced!

Alyssa Velazquez

Has Brian seen Friends? I feel like a Friends reaction would be great.

Robke
>>98704250

The finale doesn't hit the same way if you skip all the episodes building up to it :)

Sofie
>>98704250

I was suggesting that Steven watch all episodes but just react to certain ones...maybe the final stretch of 5 episodes as an arch. I was just thinking that he could cut each season down to ⅓ or something. I think season 7 is especially rough. But it just my opinion, I get that not everyone will like it. ;)

Kenzie8814

I would love it if someone would continue Nashville. Season 3 is a great season and would love if someone would react to it.

Gigi

I'm so excited for you to watch the Wizards of Waverly Place movie!

Robke
>>98704250

Oh right ;D I mean if he watches, might as well upload the reaction. Would be a bit wasteful not to

cruzinbosco
>>98737567

Agreed. Such a fun show, but specifically for reactions because it has such crazy, twisty things happen. We were just getting to the most dramatic season when David left.

Rebeccaf87

Is Brian still pausing the Switched at Birth reactions or will those continue forward?

Rebeccaf87
>>98819097

There was a post a while back mentioning pausing S@B after season 1 until he finishes another show but I can't remember what show it was.

Yonna

You should finish house of the dragon!
