No one likes Ric and Caroline together and they’ve said that Caroline is only marrying him because of the kids she doesn’t love him like that but I forgot how good this episode was

No Ric and Caroline are not having sex. They're together for the kids at least for Caroline it just made sense. Stefan was gone she didn't have the space in her life or heart for someone else and Ric was already family.
