Kristen was filming a movie during a chunk of the season that’s why we had the coma. They hoped she would be able to be back for the finale to have a proper goodbye but filming ran longer on the movie.

Finally season 7 is over!!! Moving on to season 8 yayyyyyyy. My favorite era of the show is about to begin!

Angela

We have officially entered the best era of the show! I cannot wait for season 8!

So Lana's actress Kristen left the show for multiple reasons. Main one is that the end of season 7 was contract renewal time after the end of the writers strike and she decided not to renew. She felt she had been playing Lana her whole adult life and wanted to change. And she was written out that way via video was because she was filming her first feature film I think it was called Partition.

Also remember a lot of the things you did not like about this season like certain character arcs being short changed stem from writers strike issue. But happy you liked it so much because typically this season ranks fairly low on most fans lists.

Just one more season to get through until Season 9 time!!

So glad we’re out of season 7! Trust me when I say the best is yet to come 😊
