I swear, sometimes i think spinner had a crush on Marco and hated himself for it, cause why is he SO OBSESSED with Marco?? Even the most homophobic guys in my high school just avoided this one gay kid we had or would make comments. But Spinner is literally so paranoid, the only answer would be internalized homophobia. My headcanon is Spinner is bisexual, just like you joked.
