I LOVED this finale, and is my second favorite episode. Cole going to Aunt Josephine to stay was the best solution. Like you said at the start, bigger city life for him would be better. And I felt bad that his family was struggling, but they didn't seem to really care why he was being bullied. The mom's reaction was "Oh he's not at school? We made sacrifices for him to be at school, so we need him to work at home." I get the sacrifice for an education, but she really needed to understand why Cole was being bullied. Even if she was overworked, as it looked like-with all of his siblings. I agree that Josephine should have been the adult, and talked to Diana first, instead of the other way around. I think they showed even adults aren't perfect-even ones as amazing as Josephine. And feelings of hurt, or shame, might cloud judgment. Very glad Mary and Bash got married! Bash is such a sweet person, in general. And also glad Gilbert gave him half the farm, legally.
