These people are sick... Even though most of them had cleared their debts already, they were clearly greedy, wanted more, and were willing to kill a baby to get it instead of voting to end the game. No matter how hard Gi-hun tries to save them, they continue to let their greed drive them to their deaths, and endanger him and those he cares about in the process. Maybe not everyone is worth saving.

Honestly when the soldiers say "you have a gift" and it's a damn tux I'd be like "yeah forget that I'm not putting that on". I hate formal clothes and buttons :P I'd rather just eat my final meal in comfortable clothing anyway. Unless the soldier is gonna shoot me for not wearing it for a real petty reason...

It's 03:29am, I wrote whole paragraphs explaining my views, but then fucking Patreon scrolled back up the post and undid it all, so here's my TLDR for the paragraphs that don't exist anymore. I have faith in people. But not in the system. Because this game, like the system outside in this world, is a reflection of the evil who make the most noise, who drown out the kind and good people, puppeteer lives with desperation, and are rewarded for their viciousness. There are people like Gi-hun out there, so many of them, and I wanna believe that THAT is the safety net for humanity-- that despite the system, in the hearts of the consensus, kindness counts for more than cruelty and selfishness. But people are also capable of great evil. Which is why my faith in humanity and people does NOT extend to the players of 100's group. Not a drop of it. If in the end, when their lives could've been free from danger and they could've walked away with the money sufficient to cover most of their debts, but chose to keep going out of greed and even tried to kill a BABY for it, then that's who they are at their core. And society does NOT need more of those people around. Which is why I don't think Gi-hun should fight to save those specific people anymore. He saves them, it's a reflection of the fact that evil people are rewarded, and it just goes on forever and ever. He doesn't need to prove he's a good person to anyone, he's done it countless times over. Even now, his priority is protecting a baby that's not even his. Doesn't that already prove he's a better person than the Front Man? Everything he's done has been for others.
