This is probably the most excited I've been for a reaction from you. Thank you so much for reacting to this. Probably my new favourite superhero movie of all time. Did you catch that Bradley Cooper (Rocket Racoon) is Jor-El? You probably recognized Frank Grillo (Crossbones from MCU) as General Flag. He's Rick Flag Sr, former field commander to Task Force M (Creature Commandos, which takes place before Superman) and father to Rick Flag Jr (aka Colonel Flag), who died at Peacemaker's hands in The Suicide Squad. He deeply mourns his son's death, and saw his son as an improvement on him in every way. Looking back, when Superman was obviously furious at Luthor for taking Krypto, even though he was obviously primarily concerned for Krypto's safety, I think he was also concerned for everyone else's. Because it wasn't his dog, it was Kara's. Who knows what kinda hell she would've rained down on Metropolis if she came back early and found out what happened Even tho Guy was BS'ing his way out of helping Superman at the time, it's actually part of the rulebook that Green Lanterns aren't supposed to mess with the politics of the worlds they protect, because the rule is they don't have the right to oppress the free will of sentient beings. I love how while the rest of the Daily Planet staff are panicking and evacuating, Perry, Lois and Jimmy are just chilling and sitting around like it's just another day at the office as they go over evidence lol One of my favourite scenes is when the people of Jarhanpur call out for Superman. They show their faith in him, in his goodness, believing that he will save them again. And this leads into one of Superman's most regrettable shortcomings-- despite all his powers, he can't be everywhere at once. He can't defeat Lex Luthor and help stop the world-ending rift AND save the people calling out for him at the same time. But one of his greatest powers makes up for it-- his ability to inspire people. He gave the Jarhanpur people hope, and that hope inspired the Justice Gang to agree to help fight the Boravian military and save them in Superman's place. So well done. Makes me emotional every time. I actually broke down crying the first time seeing it in the cinema. Metamorpho / Element Man is played by Anthony Carrigan, who also played Kyle Nimbus / The Mist on The Flash 1x03. Which means that this is the second time he's played a metahuman who can turn into gas in the DC Universe. I probably mentioned this already but Clark and Lois here, for some reason, even tho I never really watched the show Superman and Lois, from what I saw in Arrowverse here and there, the acting and portrayals remind me a bit of Tyler and Elizabeth in a way. Also speaking of Tyler, apparently he wants to be DCU Batman. You think he could pull it off? Nicholas Hoult's performance as Lex Luthor was AMAZING. Perfectly portrayed the HATER Lex Luthor is. Imagine what REVERSE FLASH looks like in this universe... Superman robots voices include: Alan Tudyk (K-2SO from Rogue One and SO MANY OTHER THINGS), Michael Rooker (Yondu from Guardians of the Galaxy), Pom Klementieff (Mantis also from GTOG), Jennifer Holland (Harcourt from The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker, also James Gunn's wife) Hope you're doing well today Joy 💕
