OMG, I got so excited seeing this. The reason Daniel reacted so angrily to being called Boy, that's all he was referred to in the first interview. Powers in Anne Rice's world differs some are more powerful because their makers were. I will say I just found this out. So it's not a spoiler just world building. Say you have a very powerful vampire and he makes one vampire, that vampire isn't even as close to his strength but will still be more powerful than if the vampire makes a second vampire. It deludes the more you make.

Funny thing, I knew you would hate Lestat. I love him but I can honestly say, your take on him is what it's supposed to be. I don't watch vampire shows, just this one so I can't speak for others. But yes, vampires, all of them, be doing some evil things and like "what? was that wrong?" LOL.
