Yessss thank you so much for giving this show a chance. It's definitely not your usual cup of tea but it's such a vibrant show that manages to be upbeat, music passionate and funny while maintaining the darker and grittier side of the DC Universe. I think James Gunn does some of his best work in this sense. I know how you feel about Peacemaker from The Suicide Squad. I felt the same way. But give him time lol This is what the High Evolutionary was doing right before shooting Guardians of the Galaxy 3 lol Glad you enjoyed the intro. Was worried you were gonna skip it, but I feel like everyone should watch it at least ONCE the whole season to show appreciation for the hard work everyone involved put into this dance sequence-- and the show. It gets better as you meet the characters and get to know them to add context as you watch the theme song each time. Eagly is actually voiced by Dee Bradley Baker-- aka EVERY clone trooper in the Clone Wars series. Maybe you've heard of him XD There is a post credit scene after every episode. Not really anything important, just a little outtake/extra scene for fun. Again, thank you so much for giving it a go, and would love to watch it through again with you. But I'll completely understand and not blame you in the slightest if you decide to drop this. If anything, regardless of whatever happens, I'm really happy you gave this show a shot :) Hope you're doing well today Joy 💕

Peacemaker was imprisoned for his killings as a vigilante to fight crime (or his sense of it anyway). I'm pretty sure doing it without being given the proper authority by the law is something said authority wouldn't let slide :P but yeah at one point in his career ARGUS caught up to him and locked him up.
