I really do agree with what you said. BUT I am glad you mentioned that the Grunkles really do care about the twins. That's the one thing they kind of agree on. One reason people love Stan is he does have a bit of unconditional love-that he didn't get as a child. And I view Mabel and Dipper as cycle breakers. I think part of what Alex Hirsch was trying to show is you can still love a child like those two-but might have unorthodox ways of showing it.
