Thank you for watching the show! I'm so glad you loved it. It's really well done. Owen Cooper-Jamie-deserved his emmy. Youngest actor to have won one. Also I had NO idea what nonce was, had to look it up. Horrific.

I also wanted to add,, I agree that they should have talked more about Katie, in this episode. Granted the parents were trying to figure out where they went wrong. But Eddie could have had a moment-in that room, or near the funeral-not at it-to say "I'm sorry" to Katie, because she did lose her life. And I also agree that I cringed when Lisa said "Jamie is still ours." Some of that is possessiveness, I think. And a self preservation that family members have, but I'm not sure if I would feel that way , either. I'd be more like some cases I see, where the trial is more of a funeral-almost-for the person getting convicted. And saying goodbye to them, forever. Granted, it's different with age, and you might need to talk to them, once in a while, but I would have a VERY difficult time with having them in my life. Along with what you said, it's different for the parents-who might still need to talk to him until he's 18. So,, it is very complicated.
