One animation detail I love is the fact that when Frankenstein was slurping his drink (which I assume is a slurpee), you can see that he frustratedly pushes the straw because it got blocked by the ice bits. Classic slurpee experience

Keep in mind: Flag doesn't know a single thing about Eric's past, or his situation with the bride. But you can tell regardless that Flag is very easily driven to irrationality by emotions, similar to Eric, but to a fairly lesser extent. Eric is, to put it quite simply, doomed. He was never taught any sense of humanity or social norm or what relationships were like, because he was seen as nothing much more than an experiment. Aside from his "love" for the Bride, you can see how he also immediately assumed Flag is his "best friend" because he offers an alliance, and he also killed the gypsy woman because in his mind, he was doing her a mercy by making sure she wouldn't have to suffer alone
