I'm not entirely sure what you'd expect the dad to do... He's clearly tried so much, and if there was a more obvious or cleaner solution, it would stand to reason that he, a renowned scientist who didn't love his daughter any less because of her condition, would've have found it before that. I have to admit, it is a little confusing as to why you're so set on blaming and faulting the father and focused on the possibility that he was doing it for his ego even though he was clearly trying everything he could because he loved her. We have no proof that Nina's birth defect was his fault in the first place, and all I see is a father who put everything he had into trying to give her a better life. He was the only one who treated her like a human being.

I do wonder what happened to Bloodsport and Ratcatcher and Harley after The Suicide Squad if King Shark managed to be captured again. Hope they're okay.
