Fleury is loyal to Argus. But he's also loyal to their values. To the book. He hasn't completely let it sink it that Argus isn't lol

The showrunner hasn't forgotten -- it's the EXACT point of why Chris' plan isn't gonna work out, the same way, as I mentioned, why the love of his alternate family and alternate Harcourt sways him. He's trying to escape reality (figuratively and literally) because he thinks that he can have everything he wanted he never got to have here. He's in a desperate state of delusion, because the hope that he could fill a hole in a better life left behind by his counterpart is just too much to bear, and all he can focus on in his world is the rejection and failure he seems to bring wherever he goes. He doesn't recognise how loved he is -- that these people, 11th street kids, are willing to risk everything, even their OWN chances at "redemption" to get him back. The showrunner HASN'T forgotten -- it's part of Chris' spiral, and literally a driving point of his character since the beginning of the season, wanting things he doesn't get to have.
