A Creature of War, an Introduction (Patreon)

A Creature of War was initially posted under “The Lord of Tiranis, an Origin”. While accurate, I don’t feel that it accurately portray which this 200k, incomplete story is about. It is the origin of Elarkay, who appears in the previous story, but it is so much more complex than that, hence the new title.

This wasn’t meant to be so long. My intent was only to cover some of the aspect the previous story hinted at regarding the relationship between Ell and Vee. As with many of my stories, it ran away from me.

If I have to hazard a guess as to how much of the story is left beyond where I stopped, I’d say 100k words. I have a definite sense there is a lot of stuff that needs to happen before LRK decide it’s best for everyone if he simply takes himself out of the world. Which leads into the start of the previous story.

This is divided into books, with the sixth being the incomplete one.

The first chapter of each book will be public, the rest only available for my supporters

One day, I hope to return to this story and complete it.
