It has been pointed out to me that not everyone is as familiar as I am with the series I've written (shocker, I know). So here is a quick and dirty, and probably not well done, primer on those that are part of the poll
Tristan
A science fiction thriller with 6 finished books. Shock Therapy is the 7th in that series. For a mature audience.
The series follows Tristan, an alien mercenary, researcher, killer, manipulator, and all around by person, and Alex, a desk jockey who gets used by Tristan and somehow ends up deciding that he is the alien for him.
It is a dark and violent story about broken people. Tristan only cares about himself, Alex is desperate not to be alone anymore. One will do whatever is required to insure his survival, the other will put himself through anything to find the alien he things Tristan is, and then have to live with the consequences of his decisions.
This series isn't for the faint of heart. Tristan isn't a 'ruffian with a heart of gold'. He is bad, possibly to his core, and he's the man Alex decides he wants to spend the rest of his, possibly very short, life with.
Inheriting the Line
An anthropomorphic gay urban fantasy with 5 books in it, containing explicit sex (precursor series to the Initiation series). For an adult audience.
Denton is an ordinary Denver police detective who, while investigating a quadruple murder, discovers that he is intimately connected with a secret groups of magical men powered by gay sex, and that the god overseeing them might have special plans for him specifically.
This started as a simple exploration of what happened to a family from a different series I created if they were given power, and it turned into it's very much own thing.
Beyond the explicit sex, it's a story about a man struggling to stay afloat in a world that it quite alien from his, other than like him, all the men in it are gay. it's about struggling with power and responsibilities that are thrust upon him when he might not be the right person to shoulder them. and how keeping all that from his closest friends affect those relationships.
Contains incest among various depiction of gay sex.
Death by Predation
a 4 book anthropomorphic series that is a mix of procedural, relationship and romance. For a mature audience.
The series follows Marlot and Trembor in a world where predation upon sentient beings is how of how society is structures. it's their jobs to investigate bodies left to rot whose tax had been unpaid.
This started as an exploration of what a society structured around predation looked like and evolved into following the two investigators as they navigated their personal short comings and fears to finally build a solid foundation for their relationship.
while there is nothing explicitly graphic within the books in my opinion, the subject matter does come close to 'Vore' in that sentient people are eating sentient people for their survival.
Demons
a straight forward action/adventure series. 3 books. For a general audience.
Derrick was made to hunt demons, so what happens when one of them saves his life?
This idea came from one spoken line in a song, and I purposely made it for a general audience.
it's Derrick's story as he comes to find his existence is a lie and struggles with what it means for his future and what the people who made him want to use him for. While none of my books are intended to be 'profound' this is probably the 'shallowest' of them. it's simply a fun story, in my opinion, following someone struggling to come to term with who, and what, he is.
Orr Family Chronicles
an unpublished, and possibly never to be published, anthropomorphic series of story. 7 or 8 books, at this time (I think) plus a variety of stand along stories, contains explicit sex. For an adult audience.
This started with a short story written for someone I was talking with online at the time, and took on a life of its own like you wouldn't believe it. At it's core, all the books and stories are about what happens if a family composed exclusively of gay men don't have any sexual hang-ups at all.
The Missing Son explores what happens when a young man finds out the father he thought had died when he was too young to remember is not only alive, but one of his 2 fathers. how he comes to terms with with his sexuality within a strongly religious upbringing when not only is he gay, but he comes to find it's standard for the men in his family to have sex together. this is the one novel in this series of books set in contemporary times. Contain incest.
The Future Orr series. starting in the late 2500s, this was never planed to be more than one book exploring what the life of an Orr ship captain might be like, along with yet more excuses for me to write explicit gay sex. (I did that a lot back then). it evolved into something of a political drama as each following books followed different sons of that captain and how they were impacted by a rival corporation's machinations.
The short stories are a variety of situation as a mix of excuses to write sex and explore different members of the Orr clan. most of them are set in contemporary times.
At this time there is no plan for other Orr books. Mainly because I no longer find writing sex as entertaining as I once did.
The World of Tiranis. This is a world I came up with exclusively for Patreon. As such, other than snippets for advertising purposes, nothing would be seen of them outside of this platform. and if Patreon were to end, they would vanish forever.
The idea behind Tiranis was to give me a playground where I could tell whatever kind of stories I felt like telling, adventure, mystery, police drama, ghost story, space opera(although that one would be tough within the rules), and yes, back thin, I also included porn within those potential stories.
The initial plan was to focus on the city of Tiranis(this world's Metropolis, for lack of a better analogy) and go from there. Humans coexist with Furries, super powers and super science fight for dominance, and corporations use all the tools at their disposal to undermine, if not outright exterminate, their competitors.
The initial story focused on establishing how the city came to be, and that inadvertently set me to starting something of an epic that explained how the entire world of Tiranis came to exist, and in my head, set up what would be the culmination of this current age in a giant, multi story cross over.
As you can tell by the lack of stories in this setting, it failed utterly in garnering interest. I still mentally visit the world on occasion(there are a lot of people there who'd like their stories told) but without any incentive to put those stories on the front burner, they stay in my head.
At this time, there are 2 long form stories, one a post apocalyptic fantasy that establishes the history of the worlds and one 'human interest' story through which I explore the city of Tiranis more directly. There are also a handful of short stories.
So that thew quick and dirty of the series on the Poll, hopefully, it helps people make a decision on which series they'd like to see added to the collections once Feeling the Way is added to it's most recent chapter
