Just a little fun thing I came up with.I'm a fan of Card games, though rarely get to play, Pokemon TCG, YGO-TCG, Magic the Gathering, and I have small decks of like 5 other games XDThose of you who have been around a while, know I've done card game related art before XD Like narugioh XD

The set up!

Naruto is a Card Card caster.

Like a mage, but all his spells exist in Mage Cards.He inherited a few cards from his Mage Teacher, The great sage Jiraiya, before setting out on a journey to improve his magic and skills.

His first encounter is with Hinata, a Mage from the same Academy, and the Mage Family Hyuuga!

At Naruto's current level he can only hold three cards... but after being challenged to a magic duel... he has little option..

Though he wonders why the usually shy Hinata has challenged him!

The way it works...

I didn't really go too heavy on the rules...

Naruto draws 3 cards...

each card has a mana cost.

The used card is then discarded, and a new card drawn.

There are three types of cards, Arcana (spell), Storage (item), Summoning.

Each 'round' he regains 1 mana

Hinata has spells.

She can cast one spell per turn.

Each mana cost depends on level (I'm using D&D spell levels as an example. Cantrips = 1 mana, Lv1 = 2 mana, etc)

She can increase effects by using more mana.

Yeah, like I thought htis up in like 10 minutes XD

Actions

While there are card types, they are all Arcana types, despite looking like each type.

Clothing Acid - Similar to acid splash, not summoning a bottle of acid.

Tentacle Summoning - More like an Arcane Trap card, than an actual summoning of a creature.

Succubus stare - A charm spell that draws out 'desire'.

Naruto has a total of 8 cards, 3 are out, so 5 are yet to be drawn.

Hinata's spell list is...

A mix of D&D and general elemental spells.
