The set up!

Naruto is a Card Caster.

Like a mage, but all his spells exist in Mage Cards.He inherited a few cards from his Mage Teacher, The great sage Jiraiya, before setting out on a journey to improve his magic and skills.

His first battle is with Hinata, a Mage from the same Academy, and the Mage Family Hyuuga!

At Naruto's current level he can only hold three cards... but after being challenged to a magic duel... he has little option..

The exchange...

The effects of Succubus Stare and Clothing Acid are now gone.Hinata is no longer charmed, though her 2nd Status remains.

Hinata's focus is low, her effectivness has decreased by 75% due to her status, and spells elude her concentration.

Naruto takes the moment to use 1 Mana to release the Evolution Stone from the storage card and evolve Sexy Maid Naruko, into Sexy Warrior Naruko, and orders her to knock out Hinata.

With her basic strike Naruko deals 8 damage to Hinata, rendering her unconcious, and ending the battle as she catches Hinata.

Naruto returns the Stored item Gag of Silence to it's card to charge.

both regen 1 Mana.

With only one card remaining unused, Naruto breathes a sigh of relief.

Naruto seeing the state Hinata is in feels bad, and decides to camp for the night until she recovers and they can talk about why she fought him when they were friends.

Sexy Warrior Naruko remains summoned to guard the camp as Naruto rests.

As he does he feels different, his first battle even if he didn't kill his opponent felt hard won, and he could feel he had grown a little stronger...

Card Caster Naruto has levelled up to Level 2...

He increases Constitution and Intelligence by 1 each.

HP increases to Max 28

Due to increases, Narutos maximum deck size increases to 11 - 3 slots empty.

Naruto can feel the burden from his deck has decreased...

"Three more... I can hold three more... but what?" he ponders...

With his Mana still 3 he can only create Cantrip and Lv1 spells.

He cannot level up his Sexy maid Naruko.

What Choices for three cards will Naruto Consider...

==============================================Arcana Cards

Spells - anything similar to a Cantrip and Level 1 spells in D&D

(spells Like Rasengan and Shadow clone are level one, but increase as Mana increases)

Spell Summon - Like tentacles, they can only exist as long as the spell exists.

Spells must be learned from a book, or infused by a mage.

Summon Cards

Requires a creature or construct to either be contracted, a captured, within the card. Captured Creatures must be rendered unconcious, and captured within a certain period of time.

(for those who would contract Hinata, she is currently a LV2 mage (she would become a Lv2 summon), Naruto would require 5 mana to summon her.)

Item Cards

Naruto can create these simply, to store any inanimate item he has in his possession. items canbe swapped out, and never degrade while in the card.

They will be blank until touched to an item.
