Tsunade is the Captain and Chief Medical Officer aboard the Nadesico class battleship, the Konoha, a ship famous for being comprised of an all female crew. Despite Tsunade at times being blunt and short tempered, her crew is fiercely loyal to her, and her many victories have earned her the respect of both allies and enemies alike. Among her crew are her second in command Shizune, communications officer Ino, ships helmswoman Yūgao, Chief Science officer Kurenai, Chief mechanic Tenten, and Aestevalis pilots Anko, Sakura and Hinata. Recently the Konoha has received its first male crewman, Tsunade's godson Naruto, who has been transferred to the Konoha as a Aestevalis pilot at her request, after the ship he was on previously was attacked by enemy forces. Resulting in the apparent deaths of several of Naruto's comrades, including his twin sister Naruko.
