And the reaction to the lastest chapter was... mixed.

Mixed to the point that I'm already 7500 words into the next chapter's first draft to get off a particular cliffhanger.

August 1st is next Tuesday. I'll roll the dice of my $5 or higher Patrons and see who gets to direct my writing for August, but until then I'm pushing forward on pony monster things in space.
