Fourth October Preview: Palatine Guard and Solar Legion Honor Guard (Patreon)

Our fourth preview for October turns to two elite retinues stepping into the spotlight. As a quick note, the village granary for The Adventurer remains pending as a scenery piece; we will write about it tomorrow.

The Adventurer: Palatine Guard

The planning table from our previously announced Magister Militum Command Group provides the centre around which this Palatine Guard unit forms. The photographed Palatine Infantry at Rest belong to the Palatine Guard. To make this elite unit stand apart from lower-ranking Romans, we chose our most complex armour designs and added capes. In the pictures, they carry spears and round shields.

The Crusader: Honor Guard

The Crusader's Honor Guard acts as a shock unit escorting senior Solar Legion officers, equipped with tower shields and energy weapons.

Humanity survives along a moving Perimeter, guided by Heliarchs and sustained by House fleets. Behind them stretches the Estela Negra: exhausted suns, frozen planets, and silent ruins. While Solar Legions win hard battles, forced withdrawal still costs humanity irreplaceable worlds.
