We are working on this pegasus far away from the conventional idea.

Do you find it interesting or do you prefer something more classic?

Me mola mucho lo de las plumas por el cuerpo, pero creo que soy demasiado clásico como para las patas de ave😅😅

I think I lean towards a classic approach but this wip looks really cool, very unique idea. Honestly I would say even if it had normal front hooves but feathery elements it would still be a really unique take on the pegasus.

It also depends what rider you are going to put on it. If it's a mage, I would go for this version. If it's a knight in full plate than I would go more for the classic version and make it a bit more robust. Edit: I just read it's for a mage. Than both options for me are fine. ;-)

Definitely a unique and worthwhile exploration. The main reason thoughfor my vote for "classic" was this version just feel too brittle. I like the feathers on the body and legs - just doesn't look quite strong enough. To be honest, I do not expect to see knights with melee weapons riding them (unless they are meant to fly into an area and land before engaging). The concept of hand to hand combat in the area while riding a flying mount (unless was thin or smaller) just seems questionable. Okay maybe passing blows be even then the reach issue is a huge problem.

It depents on the faction it is for. Human Kingdoms, no. Chaos realms definitiv yes!

I really like this and diverging purely from the normal is something I really love with 3D printing bringing new things to the creative world; not just repeating over and over what we've had before. I do agree with one or two others that it looks like a very thin mount; but at the same time that kind of thought depends on how it balances with the rider. A lithe rider would look great; or perhaps your idea is that its much taller than a normal horse so even a heavier armed or more bulky rider would look right with it because its so much bigger than we think. Overall I'd go with this as an idea and concept! I really like the idea of a Pegasus that has feathers on its body outside of on the wings; that really makes the wings blend into the main body and not just feel like they were stuck onto a horse.

Don't worry about the proportions. We can finish adjusting it later. What really interests me is the conceptualization itself. As it is a miniature for this month, we can't wait too long to make decisions. The fact that you like the feathers and not the legs is an interesting detail.

Certain aspects like the claws and feathers are pretty neat. However, it appears a bit too thin and (might be because of the design process) too static.

Malhorme

I can always find a classical pegasus elsewhere

Frikidepueblo

I like a lot this version. It's still a Pegasus but with a twist.

I really like the bonus feathers, I am not too keen on the front claws, gets a bit griffon/hippogriph very fast

A tweak or 2 that's a Nightmare

I love the extra feathers! My only concern is the feet. I feel like they should be more similar. Perhaps the rear hooves have some small claws to tie it in with the front claws. Or perhaps make them all hooves, or perhaps all hybrid hooves/claws. While the gryph chargers of games workshop have claws at the front and hooves at the rear, I feel like it works for them in that situation as that creature looks less like a horse and has a different overall shape and head.

DrMaybe Slow

hmm... for me its a bit too "pony like" ? feathers or not, it could look more like a warhorse. I know that you do the posing afterwards, but the face could be more aggressive...and to be honest, i don`t like the claws. They remind me of a chicken.

Willelmus

Feather on the leg, yes. On the rest, maybe not.

Roger Liarte

I LOVE IT!! How fine, light and majestic it looks 😍 I would love to print it, it's different from classical pegasus but still attached to the idea. Only thing I would change a bit its the front claws... they seems more appropriate for predators, and pegasus usually are peaceful creatures. Maybe something similar to deers would still make it exotic but less aggressive.

Tonny

It seems the classical approach received the most votes. Will you now make a more traditional Pegasus?

Eduardo Calderón Asensio

It is an interesting concept! Maybe it would gain popularity if you approached it somewhat differently? Instead of a “pegasus” you can call it something different and/or make it less equine
