Chapter 6, the vision — L's POV (Patreon)

“Did I scare you?” Laz asks. Is this what will drive [Oracle] away from them? The truth?

[Oracle] looks at them with stubbornness in their gaze. “You won’t scare me with that. If I were in your position, I doubt I would be any calmer.”

Laz does love when demons don’t pretend to be innocent, to be above such low, base feelings. [Oracle] accepts this side of themselves and of Laz. It says something about both of them.

Perhaps they’re more similar than Laz thought.

I decided to add a bit more to this POV (a second POV basically, about the same topic) since the story ended up being a bit too short for my taste, so you get two in one :)
