Custom Story #12 — Azarias/Oracle (Patreon)

This a custom story written for one of my patrons, with their Oracle & request in mind. All the Oracle's characteristics & Azarias's gender are predetermined. You can find it under the "custom stories".

Azarias can’t focus on what he needs to do, on the direction in which he needs to weave his conversation with these demons. He faces them, listening to them with one ear, but his focus is on Maeve. Azarias doesn’t try hard to hide it.

As if feeling his attention, she catches his gaze—finding him in the crowd easily, which means she knew where he was—and holds it. She keeps up her smile, and that smile somehow feels like a challenge to Azarias. He narrows his eyes.
