A servant gives them a short bow. “Oracle [Name] has awakened.”

Blissful silence fills Ashmedai’s mind. They move without thinking. Their legs carry them to the infirmary at a brisk pace, and their heart beats loudly in growing anxiety. What will they see? How wretched is [Oracle] feeling after such a terrible event?

Ashmedai has never prayed to the Abyss, but now they beg it to give [Oracle] fortitude so their mind stability can withstand the stress of the coming days.

Their hand trembles as they raise it to open the infirmary’s door. They fear stepping over the threshold, but when they think about how [Oracle] must be feeling, they discard their own feelings. [Oracle] takes priority.
