Damiano/Damiana is a loyal dog of the House Astarte, though they weren’t born here. You only know that the Astarte family found them in an underground city and brought them home. Since that day Dam was raised by Theri’s side as their aide, protector, and the watcher of the House who is responsible for executing any troublesome mages on their territory. The details of their life before that are a mystery. Despite them having no roots here, for as long as you’ve known them, they have never tried to search for their real family or answered your questions about their origins. Their loyalty to the Astartes is unwavering, and you wonder what made them like this.

When you first met, they warned you that they would kill you if you became a threat to the House, and you never doubted that they would try. After seven years, they are still no less suspicious of you. You respect their dedication to doubting you, though it gets irritating at times. At least it gives you a good reason to get on their nerves.
