Working really hard to give you the rest of the prologue as soon as we can! 😉

I still can't believe how pretty everything looks.

Get ready for a roller coaster of a chapter(rest of a chapter?)!

If I have some time left, I want to try a little battle scene this part. How does turn based sound? I think you like it more than QTEs or the ↕️ ↔️ type of battles, right? I'll try to find a fun and easy battle system for you.

😘

See you soon!

Hey Rin! You should have a look at the battle system from Loren the Amazon princess (Winter wolves) it should do the trick.

Yali

I’m sorry, I do not have any coherent words (or any appropriate ones, at that) to express my excitement over what may come with the rest of the prologue, especially after this CG tease 🙊🙊🙊

Pauline

Those CG’s scraps hit just right, thank you for the ANTICIPATION 😶😶 (but also YES, battle!)

Rhienn

Turn based combat sounds nice, would love to try that out! As OB is usually pretty action packed what with the fiends, the Vail and now the Ascendency with which I'm sure we'll have a scuffle or two, having some interactive battles should be really fun. Viri, baby, hold on just a little longer...😢

Asher

Oh man, I am nine thousand percent here for turn based battles. Victory theme? 😝

Bubi

Hi Rin! I'd have so many amazing things to tell you considering I never comment but I'm always here, like a silent but ever-present fan (now that I read it sounds pretty creepy tbh o.O) but I'll try to keep it short, simple and OB related. So first of all, CAN'T. FREAKING. WAIT. As I said before, you've come so far and I'm so fucking proud of you and the passion you have and OB is literally becoming my favourite thing EVER! I honestly can't wait for all of it to be released but I'll try to contain my fangirling inside (inner voice, Alex. Inner voice). Anyway, regarding the combat scenes: the QTEs from Ascension gave me a bit of problems, I had to nearly crash my keyboard to get them and unfortunately strength don't equal speed (and I'll leave unspoken my famous hardcore gaming tendencies.....). So I'd hate for OB to kinda -- not be ruined by QTEs, but maybe not letting its whole vibe and amazing potential be tarnished by these sort of problems, if it makes sense. Turn based sounds incredibly easier under a gaming mechanic, but I don't know how it works on a more programming level. Hope it wouldn't give you problems. Another mechanic I wouldn't give to OB (I wholeheartedly apologize for the comparisons I'm making between OB and Ascension but being these two your "main" current games I can't help but tell you what I liked and what worked and what I wouldn't want to see in the other) is the love-making mechanic from Ascension. I didn't find as fluid as OB1's (not Kenobi) so I would personally keep that one. OB's sex mechanic was fluid, it worked and it gave more active playing to the player. Now, on a closing note, I don't know if you'd be interested in the humble opinion of a silent yet ever-present fan but I love the direction OB is taking. I love the little Ascension cameos and crossover parts you've put in OB1 (and apart from Captain Nina I'm thinking about that Lord Morthil conversation Virion and MC have during a love scene - don't think I didn't notice it, it was brilliant!). So, once again, thank you for your hard work and thank you for giving us the opportunity to play these amazing video games you spend so much time and passion making xx

Not sure if I will add that many skills and skill level up functions etc. Since we have no level system here. I'll try to find a less complex one that we can use as a mini game!🤩

Hiii Bubi!!! Thank you soo much for your comment! 😍 The QTEs seem to have lots of issues, true. I think the lag of Ascension made them extra unbearable. I may add some optional QTEs to OB S2, but not in the way I made Ascension remake. I can program a turn based battle system easily in python, and C# although scared me a lot at first wasn't that difficult to work with during the alchemy game. With some help from forums etc, I think I can do a simple turn based battle system here. 😍 The sexy times mechanic of Ascension definitely was a flop. I'm not going to be using it again, so rest assured! :) I try to add new features and experiment with the engines I'm using from time to time, so don't mind me. I'm definitely keeping everybody's feedback in mind, and will be going towards a direction where you are having fun the most. 😉 We will be having more cameos in S2, just as soon as I'm done with sub-main characters sprites first. We have quite a lot of enemies / friends this season, so cameos are taking a bit of time to make. 😁 Again, thank you so so much for your comment and your feedback! 🌟😍
