Spreading Seeds: Elements Farming (Patreon)
Content
Hello! It's time for the first release of the last month of the year!
Today's release is inspired by a patron request, and I hope that it'll be useful to you.
This is an animated overlay that is intended to work as a sowing-seeds animation. You could also use it for laying fertilizer or berries or other farming items, maybe even throwing marbles... or caltrops or bombs! Could even be scattering ash... this is pretty versatile the more I think about it.
Preview animations with the Elements character- south, east/west and north directions:
How to use these sheets:
This is a set of 5-frame animations in four directions. The set includes four color variants for the [seeds/leaves/mulch], and the sheet comes with or without the bag.
The animations correspond with the Elements 'attack/tool-use' animation, so I've arranged then in that sheet format. They can be pasted directly into the Weapon folder for use in the Elements character generator.
If you're not using the Elements generator, you're welcome to separate the animation frames and overlay them, they should work pretty nicely as a more traditional "animation overlay", and with a variety of styles even without this specific character animation.

I know there's more interest in cozy/farming/crafting tools that work with the Elements set, and especially with all of those workstations and interior tiles coming for next year's tileset, I think it's a great idea to start thinking more about filling out this theme.
Plan to have the X-Modern set later this month for our holiday release in addition to our ongoing patron posts, and then I'm looking forward to getting down with some cozy assets as the winter deepens.
And if all continues on schedule-- something really special before the end of the year. But we'll see about that one, depends how busy things get.

And that's it for today.
Have a wonderful weekend and I'll see you next week with something new.
Thanks!
