BOOOOO! 👻

Did I spook ya!

Suggestions:

Requests with likes from other patrons will have priority. The more likes, the higher chance of doing it.

Assets with the most general use will usually be prioritized.

If you have requests that fit into the our ongoing projects and plans, it'll be easier to incorporate them into upcoming releases.

Image references are always helpful!

Start small: I'm not going to have time to create a large tileset for an entire region, but a couple of special objects would be OK.

Omega Modern style or Lo-Bit style requests are cool, or Time Elements/Fantasy stuff. Just specify if you're looking for a specific style, or something else.

All patrons will have access to the graphics made from these threads.

Specific assets for the Time Elements generator are welcome (legs, body, head, hairstyles, weapons, etc), but -- instead of a regular patron release, they might end up on the list for a future expansion!

Repeat requests are OK -- if I didn't get to a request from a previous month, feel free to post it again here.

Thanks! I'll see you next week on Monday with something fresh.

Hi. I was a bit slow off the mark last time, so I'm trying again :) A "deep sea diver" character? I know you did some Steampunk stuff a while ago, so I thought a big, clunky, brass, diving suit type thing might be good, open up underwater exploration/battles a bit more? Cheers.

Repost: Time Fantasy style please, Overworld sprites of monsters like these https://tylerjwarren.itch.io/tyler-warren-rpg-battlers-pixel-style-1 https://tylerjwarren.itch.io/tyler-warren-rpg-battlers-pixel-style-2 https://tylerjwarren.itch.io/tyler-warren-rpg-battlers-pixel-style-3 such as more of this https://www.patreon.com/finalbossblues/posts/spooky-scary-73174476?collection=59510 scarecrow, like walking animations. I really like that scarecrow, especially since Hallowen's coming. Either way, you can pick one or more of these to do.

Hello, im new here but just trying my luck. Would you consider a rolling forward animation for the Time Elements style?

Benoit Morales

Would it be possible to get the SV_actor for the male vampire?

Ragnarok Aesthetic

Graffiti and more future tilesets. Maybe random but more desk tilesets for example having the corners for like a corner desk for offices and stuff. All up to you though boss

Ragnarok Aesthetic

Like you want time elements to move forward as in rolling on the ground?

JustaMirage

More weapons for the Time Elements series! Something like a desert tileset for the Elements series would be cool too!

Ahmad Kushairi

Yes that's what i meant! Thank you, and sorry if i wasn't being clear enough!

(repost) New parts for the Time Element char generator : A wider variety of outfits and hats to give the characters created with the element generator more distinct identities. To create a wide variety of characters without having to design thousands of outfits, I’ve selected the outfits and hats that, in my opinion, allow you to create a unique style with just a few pieces: - ninja outfit - Eastern-inspired outfit - bard’s hat - Nordic/Viking-inspired helmet - superhero mask - old, tattered cape I mainly selected examples from your work on Time Fantasy and added a few FF3/5 class sprites for inspiration. Here is the reference image. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cgxLRthJMDIOzJm248OyMIOOGwRbhw0K/view?usp=drive_link

Graffiti is weird because it's an opportunity for world-specific details. Like icons or signs for local gangs/factions... so it's not easy to imagine what to make for a general asset release. if you or anyone has good ideas or refs for "generic" graffiti then I think it's a cool idea

Ragnarok Aesthetic

Hm fair enough. It does seem like a complicated thing. I honestly didn't think that deep about it tbh. I was considering it for like alley ways or city aesthetic.

finalbossblues

To be honest, unlikely. The problem with more animations for Elements is that they would have to be added backwards onto hundreds of pieces, so I don't think it's something that's realistic. Might be easier to do it as a dash-dodge with some movement and particle effects :P I could potentially make a more generic "spin-dash" type of animated sprite effect (more like the sonic spinjump to imagine), which is more of an abstract smear, and if it has the same colors as the character then it might work, of course that depends entirely on how its implemented in the game. But a slower more somersault-style roll I don't think would work well for the setup that we have.

A desert tileset is an important biome and high on the todo list. I plan to double-up with the sand sets and do a desert + beach set, but it'd be after some of the other stuff... (tbh though, thinking about it, it might be possible as a mini-set using some base textures that we can build out in other Elements sets, and then add in some extra details, maybe re-using these cacti https://www.patreon.com/finalbossblues/posts/cacti-also-meta-42999485 ) 🤔

Thank you for replying! I was originally making a cave dungeon in my game, and wanted to fill the cave with the spikes from an old post of yours. So as a way to run from those spikes, i thought having a rolling forward animation would be a good addition, although hearing your dash recommendation, i think that might also be a good option! (Perhaps a normal dash would be enough in my case :D) One thing i wanted to ask regarding the old spike post, i noticed that it only has the time fantasy style included, so would you consider adding the time elements style spike (+ if you have any other traps etc for either cave or even forests) if you have the time ? Sorry, and cheers! Hope you have a good weekend!

If there were a sprite sheet with the alphabet in graffiti font you could put whatever you wanted together. Include some generic symbols (❤️🙂?!$&@) and you’d be in business.

Anthony

Since it is October how about TE style enemies. Side view battlers for generic spooky monsters. Skeletons, ghosts, spiders, bats, zombies. It has been hard to find decent enemies that will match the backgrounds and characters.

Christian S

if we could get something like Devil horns (small ones and big ones) and a halo that would be cool. Also maybe some more unique monsters for elements. like maybe a set of elemental monsters that look similar but like one is water, one is fire, one is air, one is thunder.

Iguana Guy

I would also love more underwater characters - diving suits sounds cool!

Overpowered Knight Games

TE Hometown 4 seasons that are for something other than RPG Maker would be awesome.

Lee Tran

Ancient X Dragon cycle from Dungeons and Dragons

Fenshri

A hedge maze or courtyard/flower garden tiles. (If this exists and I missed it, let me know!) A rich/victorian mansion set would be pretty useful in general.

Cody

Doctor or nurse clothes for the Time Elements generator would be cool. I edited Top14 to be more like a white doctor's coat, but I'd love some sort of medical looking hat to drive it home :)

finalbossblues

sorry I didn't reply to this earlier, missed the notification and just saw it again now: There's been new spikes since then specifically for the Elements style! They're in the caves+catacombs set. If you don't have the full set and just want the spikes, send me a DM and I'll give you those sheets. Thanks

finalbossblues

You can use them in any engine, unless I'm missing someting. Let me know if there's something specific missing I use the RPGMaker format by default because it's the most restrictive, where in other engines you have more flexibility to use different sizes of tilesets. Like for example I use Game Maker personally but I can import RM tilesets into it directly just as a general tileset.
