Skeleton SV Battlers (Lich Crusades) (Patreon)

Hello! Today's release is based on a patron request... and it's been a long time coming!

Today I have three new SV battlers, based on the first three skeleton character sprites from the Lich Crusades patreon-exclusive Time Fantasy character pack.

I never made full SV battlers for these guys, because I always imagined them as enemy monsters, and the original Time Fantasy series was made with the idea that the enemies would use big static-framed images like in the classic FF and RPGMaker style.

(at least, I don't think I did... hopefully I didn't forget (again) 🤣 and spend all day on these for no reason...)

But even if you use static monsters, it makes sense that these guys might end up in the hero party, even potentially as temporary minions or summons, if not a full party hero... hmmm... that gives me some ideas for a necromancer game... hopefully it sparks some inspiration for you too!

But there's always been patron requests for more monsters with full SV animation sets, especially for guys like these. So given this month is Halloween... and especially because Time Fantasy deserves some love after spending the last few big releases on the Elements style... I figured it would finally be time to revisit these skellies.

These are full SV Battler sheets, in the classic RM style consistent with previous Time Fantasy releases, for the first three sprites on the skeleton-army sheet of the Lich Crusades set.

The Lich Crusades pack was the very first patron-exclusive pack, a special reward release way back when we hit a goal back in the first year of this patreon. Hard to believe how long its been, and that we're still going strong with new asset releases every week...
