Hi! Today's update is an expansion on a previous release.

Earlier this week I released this Bookshelf Secret Passage animation. I've expanded it in a way that gives you some more flexibility.

This second sheet will work with the tiles in this previously-released tileset: Mansion Interior Tiles.

Now you'll have more flexibility when building secret bookcases- this new version will work will tiles that you can build out horizontally or vertically.

If you're using RPG Maker, make sure to add a "!" to the beginning of the filename so it lines up properly with the tiles. And refer to the previous update for an example on how I animated it.

 Secret Bookshelf Sheet 2 - 100%

 Secret Bookshelf Sheet 2 - 200% (RMVX)

 Secret Bookshelf Sheet 2 - 300% (RMMV)

That's it for this week. I'll be back after the weekend with something new. I might continue with the icons, or maybe I'll find something fun from the request thread.

Thanks!

I was actually in the middle of creating a library with a secret passage and considered editing your original bookshelf to make a wall of books to hide it better! This is great!

Can't wait for the next update, Even More Secret Bookshelves! Thanks for these!

This is top 10 of your creations. Great concept, just a fantastically smooth animation. Bravo I hate to comment without adding anything, so if there was one thing I would change it would be the button -> a book 'pull'. When you're pulling a book from a tight shelve like you'd find in a library your index finger grabs the top of the spine and pulls downward then the thumb and middle clamp and pull. There's already frames for the 'button' recessed vs protruding, just add a slight white to the protruding slide to make it into the top of the book peaking out and reverse the frame animation order.

Oh, I get it - the character sees the book extended off the shelf edge and pushes it in, that triggers the door!
