Hello! I'm very happy to share this with you today.

Here we go! Time Elements is finally dropping-- soon!

Here is the early release just for patrons!

(Normally, a big release like this wouldn't be available to every patron tier... but I've been developing this thing slowly over the past few years, and patrons have helped on every step of the way, so this is a special one that I'm happy to share with you. Please do not share this with non-patrons, thanks!)

About a year ago, I released a beta version for patrons. Today's release version is only slightly different -- a few new pieces based on patron suggestions (which I've shared before, ), as well as some premade NPCs (which I have also shared here). There's been a couple of improvements to the generator as well.

The most significant piece of new content in this final release is the huge PDF guide, which I've put a lot of time into over the past couple of weeks. Seriously, this guide took me so much longer to make than I expected. I hope that it is worth reading and that people will find it to be useful. I really wanted to get it right, because this set will be the foundation for a ton of releases that I have planned for the future.

Anyways -- thanks for your patience, suggestions, and support through the entire development of this project.

I hope that you enjoy this!

Time Elements - Core Character Set

NOTE: Some browsers have a hard time with .zip files. If the download isn't working, make sure to right-click and 'save as', maybe copy-paste the URL into a new tab, or try a different browser.

------

Important: This download will eventually be removed, a few months after the pack appears in stores. For more details on this policy, check out the FAQ.

As for the actual release-- hopefully soon! (though that won't matter for you if you're able to read this post!) I don't have control over the publishing schedule for the RPG Maker DLC release on steam, and that will likely be two months away or so. I don't want to wait that long for the main release on itch, though -- I'll probably put it up on that store within the next couple of weeks.

------

Anyways -- last week I shared these hot-air balloons and promised some airships this week. Planning on having those for you in a day or two, it will be the last regular release of this month before the usual end-of-month stuff on Friday.

This September has really flown by quickly! Well-- see you soon.

Thanks!

Hi, just tried to open the custom gen but says I dont have .NET. installed, tells me if i would like to download now, but nothing happens after i accept.

finalbossblues

Thanks for the heads up! We just updated it to require the latest .NET (6.0), the previous version used the older .NET. I updated the link in the post to the new version, so give that one a try. Thanks

This tool is awesome! Anyway a roll animation can be added?

Robert

Just incredible. As a new Patron I am blown away by the content my sub gets. One of the best subs RPGMaker i have seen. Elements is just the icing on the cake. Once i get power back from Fiona downloading this will be priority 1. How long do you think this will be available for? Over a week? Elements is something I've been dreaming of since rm2k(yeah that long).

finalbossblues

thanks!!! This download will probably be up thru the end of the year most likely, and then removed once the RPG Maker version is up in the steam stores.

finalbossblues

probably not, at least not for the generator with all of the different pieces. For extra animations like this I can make a base for them, so that's definitely a possibility, but backporting the animation to all of the pieces isn't gonna happen.

Dungeonmind

My jaw just dropped on the floor; this generator is crazy!

Going to be following this project. Thinking themed packs are the way to go with this. Right now, lots of these items seem ideal for NPCs. I see that you have a way to go with animations with one of your older posts showing different items than the ones provided. One suggestion though is that I'd like to see the purple colors available for clothing.

Johnny Araujo

think about doing more weapon animations? type staff, whip, axe, sickle, pistol and etc.

Hi Jason! I have one question - now that you have released this generator on itch.io, will current patrons get access to the itch.io download? I know we can download it from here directly, but I'd like to have it in my itch.io library too if possible, in case I want to redownload it later or there are updates. Thanks a lot for your amazing work! Best wishes.

Thank you very much!

Awesome!Will fantasy character generator come?:D

finalbossblues

No, the original TF series was never designed this way, it's handcrafted characters. The new Elements series was designed for generator use from the start.
