Happy New Year! 🥳

Post here with an asset request. I'll fill what I can and release each as I finish them. The requested assets will be released to the whole patron group.

Suggestions:

Requests with likes from other patrons will have priority. The more likes, the higher chance of doing it.

Repeats are OK -- if I didn't get to a request from a previous month, feel free to post it again here.

Stuff with the most general use will usually be prioritized.

Specific assets for the Time Elements generator are welcome (legs, body, head, hairstyles, weapons, etc).

Image references are always helpful!

Animations should be simple: basic 3-4 frames animations.

Start small: I'm not going to have time to create a large tileset for an entire region, but a couple of special objects would be OK.

I'll be happy to fulfill Omega Modern style or Lo-Bit style requests in addition to the usual Time Elements/Fantasy stuff. Just specify if you're looking for a specific style.

Off-style requests will have low priority since it won't be as useful to most people.

All patrons will have access to the graphics made from these threads.

Another request is if making the individual pieces for fantasy races too difficult or time consuming right now for the time elements generator, could we have some elf/dwarf/orc/beast npcs in the time elements style? I really like having fantasy races around so if making them fully playable is gonna take a while maybe having them as NPCs would be a good compromise for variety 😊

Anything Elements is welcome. Some specifics would be Staves, Grimoire, and Mace weapon animations. For tiles, world map auto-tiles of mountains with forests around the edges that blend with the current forests. With maybe some Mountain villages to complement them.

More races for TE as @Ryf suggested. More weapons for TE as @Robert said would also be nice. A bigger ask would be to have additional animations added to the generator, e.g. your punch and flinch animations that you released last year.

Not a specific asset request, but I’d love a way to always have the latest Elements sets. Right now it’s hard to organize it myself. If this exists already let me know!

For the Elements characters, it would be nice if the attacking animation were consistent in which hand he is attacking with! The sprite switches hands to the one closest to the camera for the West and East attack animations. It would be great when when attacking to the west, the sprite attacks with the hand furthest from the camera! I know this is a small issue, but my OCD will not let me stop noticing it :(

https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/470647498243833878/1061071319489327144/Untitled.png would appreciate if you could expand on the overworld trees from the OpenRPG Tileset to add pine, snowy, jungle, and dead forest variants that fit the pixel dimensions of that tileset. I know all the tiles are 16x16 but the time fantasy tree expansions you posted here on patreon are slightly shorter within their own tiles in a way that makes it hard to use the OpenRPG oak-style trees with the TF overworld trees and vice/versa (image above with red lines to demonstrate the difference). Alternately, instead of making four new tree varietals with the OpenRPG/Time Elements palette, would also be happy with just oak-style trees that fit the other patreon reward overworld trees.

Honestly this isn't going to happen, because it'd mean hundreds if not thousands of hours over time, if you consider the animations for every piece going forward. The majority of players don't notice these things in game, with the exception being for unique characters with an asymmetrical design. And in that case imo it would work best to make that character as a custom sprite rather than add to the entire generator

Of course I would never ask for such a ridiculous request! I was simply asking for 5 additional frames for the Elements Base to make it easier to create asymmetrical characters going forward. If this is something you don't think would be beneficial for a public release; I have no problems paying for the 5 frames as a separate commission!
