Transparency and the Future (Patreon)

We are going to try to be completely open and honest with you all about the comic plans and the future comics here at Sample-Art comics. As such, here is a rough outline of our currently ongoing projects and schedule plans. The rest of 2024 - A Sampleville Short interlude comic 'Wrong Shampoo'2025 - Spider-Man: Fantasy Island Issue 2 -- A Sampleville Short: Halloween special? (Maybe) -- The Avengers vs. The Youkai2026 - The Avengers vs. The Youkai -- A Sampleville Short: Holiday special? (Maybe)2027 - The start of something new.THE START OF SOMETHING NEW!?This is the exciting bit. Until now we've been working off of other IPs and characters. Starting in 2027, we will be casting off those training wheels and working on something completely original. Without giving too much away, it will be an original modern-ish world full of superheroes, sci-fi, magic, and of course, Transformations galore. Right now the idea is a long brainstorm document of notes and bullet points, but we will be giving some teasers and WIPs along the way. This will be a multi-arc, longform webcomic in our new, original world. Get ready to dive into the cities of Sampleville, Blackwood, Transatlantic Falls and More with us as we explore our own superhero universe and fight the forces of Chaos!Other things to go with this! We will try to make all new comics that we make, be it side stories or completely separate comics, one-off things. No more cliffhangers or unfinished stories. Another thing in discussion is the addition of a CAMEO tier! Perhaps a tier isn't the right word. Commission slots maybe? Either way. Being a world of heroes and villains, aliens and warlocks, there are bound to be background characters who get caught in the crossfire. And we want to give those of you interested a chance to be a part of that. When we start working on fights and things, we will give VAGUE descriptions of the possible TFs up ahead and open up spots for patrons to put themselves or their OCs into the background as TFees. Prices on these slots will probably fluctuate depending on how major/minor and in-depth the roles and TFs are. However...This does mean that the other projects are going to be less of a focus. Most of the other comics we have started will have an "It'll be done when it's done." ETA. That is not to say that these comics will not happen. We intend to finish most if not all of our ongoing series. But the focus will be on the new project. We know that some or many of you signed up for a specific comic. But we also sincerely hope that our new long term story and world will draw you in, make you feel, and satisfy. We look forward to seeing you all in Sampleville. Stay Lucky!~Artemis and Andy
