The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert.

therat_mafia

Have you ever seen "Two Hands" it's a movie I hate as it has such a ludicrous premise, but I'd love to see your reaction to it as I imagine it'll get you as mad as it does me

Hunt For The Wilderpeople

therat_mafia

For the NZ films, not too many come to mind but maybe "Deathgasm" it's utterly bonkers and pretty funny to boot.

Adam McCabe

Easy gotta watch Strictly Ballroom

Cory Silver

I saw that on The Last Drive In, I remember it being fun.

John Cranberry

3 MUST WATCH! Gallipoli, The Man from Snowy River and Once Were Warriors. 100% MUST WATCH!!!!

Drew

Of all of his work, this is the one

Marvin Just Marvin

The Dish (2000) and The Man from Snowy River (1982).

Kian Cavazos Garcia

Talk to Me directed by RackaRacka and Hunt for the Wilderpeople directed by Taika Waititi

I liked the film Australia with Hugh Jackman and that ex wife of Tom cruise.

Baz Andrew

I think the only Australian film I've seen to my knowledge is.. 2018's "Occupation" starring Temuera Morrisons.. Was quite good really 👍

MickAussie

The castle, bad boy bunny, once were warriors

Francisco

Road Games(1981) Young Einstein (1988) Chopper(2000) Wolf Creek(2005) and Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. Even though Rise of the Lycans isn't considered a New Zealand film, I do believe it was filmed in New Zealand

Kristin

That's a good movie! relatively unknown.

Kristin

Based on a true murder case, Heavenly Creatures, with Kate Winslet and Melanie Lynskey. The Kate Winslet character went on to become the famous murder mystery writer, Anne Perry.

Cody Price

I highly recommend Elvis (2022). I know it’s not about Australia and in the film it’s supposed to be in the United States, but the entire film was actually shot in Queensland, Australia. Also, the Director and a lot of the supporting cast are Australian.

AZ MusicLover

The Man from Snowy River!! Love that movie!! 💕🍒

Frankie H

Gallipoli (1981) starring a young Mel Gibson.

3dbadboy1

Haha! Now that's funny.

Jay Jay

The Frighteners (1996) starring Michael J Fox. Although the movie is supposed to have an American setting it was filmed entirely in New Zealand by director Peter Jackson.

SpankTheMonk

Australian - The Rover (2014) featuring one of Robert Pattinson’s great indie roles after sparkle vampires but before Good Time, post apocalyptic western I believe

ScribbleScrabbless

Welcome to Woop Woop, such a great cult classic 😻

Jimmy Smith

What we do in the shadows 😂😂 film by Taika Waititi

Jimmy Smith

Oh 😯 I love that one 😊
