dang was really hoping you’d react to Weapons. Same director as Barbarian and it’s huge right now.

djKENTO

Oh diggity dang.

Cyber legacy

I really like this list of movies

Kian Cavazos Garcia

This is an AMAZING list! I cannot wait! However I just need to warn u about the Substance…ur gonna need a throw up bucket 🪣

fastecp1

Great list Mary

axr714

Nice list!!! Cannot wait for THE SUBSTANCE and SILENCE OF THE LAMBS especially. Speaking of which, I just saw ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER, the new Leonardo DiCaprio and Regina Hall movie directed by Paul Thomas Anderson (a director whose work should be seen). The film of the year IMO with amazing layered story telling and super timely social commentary. A film I hope you will also react to.

Sweetish_Jeff_26

“From Dusk Till Dawn” is one of those WTF movies. Starts off as one thing and then it takes a huge left turn and then you’re like WTF?!

Jay Jay

Great choices Mary! This is gonna be the best scary cherry month ever! Gonna watch your uncut From dusk till dawn reaction tonight 😀

Jay Jay

Just like Sinners. You think it's about one thing than turns into something else completely.

Jay Jay

Just seen one battle after another Thursday night. For me it's not even a top 3 PTA film. Not sure why it's getting so much praise.

axr714

I can see why it is getting praise. It is the kind of film that is operating on so many different layers with the different elements of the movie synching up so well, not to mention the different themes and tones it juggles (the way it made a car chase scene with long takes of empty highway so tension inducing is amazing among others). It is the kind of film that works on rewatches more than first view. Film is subjective, and this is about the best in a given year rather than against a body of work. I’m frankly rooting for PTA to finally win his Oscar for this. He has 11 Oscar nominations with no wins yet.

Jay Jay

I absolutely love PTA as well and I think he definitely deserves recognition. I adore Magnolia, Boogie Nights, and There will be blood. Heck Boogie nights was a top 3 favorite for me for like 10 years but for some reason OBAA just doesn't do it for me. But with that being said I agree with your comment "Film is subjective, and this is about the best in a given year rather than against a body of work". It's been a very lackluster year for films when it comes to 2025 so yeah I guess I can kinda now see the praise it's getting. Not much competition. Anyways great discussion 😀

Vincent Perrone

Did you do Ready Or Not from 2019 yet? Great movie. Definitely consider it.

Vincent Perrone

Consider both versions of Cape Fear sometime, or at least the 1991 version even though the 1962 one is the original.

Sweetish_Jeff_26

Salma Hayek may be onscreen for less than 15 minutes but totally worth the price of admission. ☺️

Emily G

Please consider Practical Magic (1998) for a future movie reaction. It’s a great witchy movie.

Paul Wilson

I would recommend you to do a reaction to Demons aka Demoni 1&2 also Re-animator, Basket Case, Phantasm, Creepshow from 1982, Fright Night from 1985 (great vampire movie) and the Nightmare on Elm Street sequels

Tony E Crumpton

You left off Antropophagus. I mean, if ya' gonna sport the image, may as well support the film. But yes, I would love to see a watch-along for any of these, especially Demons. It's in my top five desert island Horror picks: Demons, ROTLD, Black Christmas, Supspiria (OG), Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Not a list of "best" horror films, but the ones I can watch over and over.

Paul Wilson

Ah now Anthropophagous the movie is not very good but I like the character that George Eastman plays and as for the original Suspiria it’s one of my all time favourites, I would love for her to do a reaction to that one aswell
