I really enjoyed this, it was a lot of fun. Thanks for this Mary, I probably wouldn't have watched this otherwise. Or it would have taken me a few years to get around to watching this. Either way I'm happy I saw it now. So couple of fun facts, the guy at the beginning on the plane that knocked himself out and fell to his death was played by Mathew Rhys and he's married to Keri Russell who played the nurse/mom in the movie. Also speaking of Jesse Tyler Ferguson aka Mitchell from Modern Family, Ray Liotta was was in an episode of Modern Family playing as himself and actually had a storyline with Mitchell. Finally, rest in peace Ray Liotta, he played a lot of bad guys and mobsters (Syd in this movie) but apparently he was a wonderful person in real life.

As far as the real life story of this is just inspired by true effects. There was a plane that dropped cocaine and there was a bear that ate cocaine, but everything else is just R rated fiction fun. The real bear died within 24 hours of eating the cocaine it found. There was no deaths done by the bear in real life.

I always laugh when you mentionned you are glad not to have an animal in Australia. Australia where every step you take endangers your life. Where death by plants, animals, water lurks at every corner....

Thats a stereotype put on my media and people who clearly dont live in Australia. I mean yeah if you go into the wilderness and dont pay attention you could get hurt but in the cities and suburbs, literally nothing happens to anybody. Yet in the U.S your chances of being shot and killed by somebody are way more than if you were to get bit or stung by something in Australia. Id rather be In Australia, its actually statistically safer xD

I was kind of joking and not talking about guns and stuff. But my point was mostly that it's funny that someone who lives in a country with box jellyfishes, crocodiles, poisonous snakes, white sharks, giant spiders, etc. would not want to have bears.
