Hi all,

This week's youtube vid sees me cracking on with my Solar Auxilia. I address the challenges that I find with army painting and answer a few of those excellent questions you posted. I don't want to promise something that we cant stick to, but my intention is to do at least 1 Patreon only live stream per month, where we can get good and nerdy about painting.

cheers, Henry

That was brilliant. It really resonated with me and I enjoyed the waffling a lot! Thanks for the update on the paints as well. Can’t wait!

Great vid. Thank you for answering my, and so many others', questions. I've stopped painting my guard to concentrate on some Space Wolves (inspired by your class with Val), but now I'm itching to get back to my ranked masses.

Love this Henry. As someone who does not enjoy dry brushing and is pretty nonplussed by the look of contrast/ speed paints in their intended form, I’m really sick of the endless tide of slap chop and similar videos (not to mention the ones that claim to be ‘easy’, followed by a half hour of Rembrandt-esque oil paint blending because it’s oh-so-much easier than using acrylics). That probably makes me an idiot though, coz it’s taking me an age to get through 2,000 points of Ironjawz, and at 50-odd minis all in, they’re not exactly a horde army. Let’s just say that your point about discipline is well taken 😂.

Great video and love the "waffling" / philosophizing about the hobby. The discipline component is so real, and having painted one army and now about half through a second, that's all I've been able to advise folks: you gotta do it. It's not planning. It's not technique. It's sitting down at the table and painting. Whatever smooths the way to permit that discipline is going to be different for everyone, but that's the crux of it: do the work.

This video resonated with me: increasing responsibilities, getting enjoyment out of different aspects of the process, and wanting to produce something I’m proud of and enjoying that process. Thanks.

Thanks Henry that was an absolute gem of a video answering peoples questions (mine amongst them). A Columbo follow up question (which just occured to me today!) how do you manage to airbrush during the warmer weather? Keep them coming and waffling sense through out Dude 😎

Loved this! Thank you Henry

This is what we love Henry! More like this! When is the Artis Opus set out?
