Having a hobby crises and I decided to just do a lizardman army to get me out of the funk. With AOS 4 coming up I really want a Spearhead ready to try out the new game while it’s hot!

I'm the same! I have a squad of 10 Saurus Warriors already painted, but want the rest done. Uo first for me is the Oldblood on Carnosaur

Jeff Rogers

Love to see it! I have my seraphon spearhead about 75% complete, hoping to hit the ground running with a fully painted spearhead on release. Cannot wait to see what you create

This is so relatable Andy - the adjustment to change of work routine, project frustrations, mid-painting course corrections; I totally feel what you’re saying. You seemed to get the kit built amazingly quickly. I’ve never gamed before so am determined to get my Ironjawz ready for Spearhead/ AoS 4 too (though they’re just about the only army that doesn’t have a Spearhead box yet) but man it’s a major project creating an army. The hard work is real 😂. Your dinos are looking great so far - can’t wait to see how they turn out.

These rock! The colors you’ve got for these so far are awesome, looking forwards to more lizards inbetween display stuff. I hope you can recapture the success of your eldar army with these guys!

Evening Andy. I'm new to Patreon and Cult of paint. I'm loving the videos you guys are putting out. It's really helped me work on different elements of my painting and think about things in new ways. I'm also doing a Seraphon army for AOS 4th edition and used the same dispair green as a base colour so it was really interesting to see the direction you took it. Looking forward to seeing the finished spearhead they look awesome!

Tim Cornell

I’m loving this content. Between you and Henry you’re creating content that’s completely taken away the guilt and anxiety I used to feel about painting armies. Since watching you guys the hobby has become fun again. Thank you

Lee Barnes

I bought 2k of Seraphon a few months ago, so really happy to see this and will keep an eye on your progress

Martin Wolf

Doing the recesses in a light color looks awesome even without the edge highlights. And I can totally relate to Contrast paint and Drybrushing just never working out for me. Difficult to find a way to “speed/fast(er) paint” that still looks cool. You did it! Since you mentioned a cult paint, any news on them? 🫣

Josue Romero

I am really happy to see you painting Seraphon again, you always manage to make them look special

Dan Shaw

Love this style of video and seeing your approach to army projects. Reassuring to see everyone has similar frustrations with minor hurdles getting in the way. Looking forward to more

Love this video Andy, as others have said spreading the word about the realities of painting/building armies is important in my opinion!Great vid and the Seraphon are looking lovely!

Seconding what Tim Cornell said. To see hobby luminaries wrestling with indecisions, doubts, things not working etc . It’s pretty reassuring!

Alex Krieger

I feel you, i always have like 3-5 projects going at once. Usually split between converting/sculpting projects and painting ones.

Bjørn Friborg

Absolutely love your army painting videos Andy! They are much more useful for me as a painter because I will never attend stuff like Golden Demon :)

Zack Null

What are you using to cut your acrylics for that wash? Great video and great timing. I and staring down ~3k of a seraphon project and have 2-300 points of S2D to wrap up. Excited for a little change up.
