Hey everyone,

Part 2 of my diorama. This is a deep dive into painting fur texture. I’ve done it many times before so tried to add some additional details. I hope you enjoy it anyway. I’m painting the base right now and it’s going well! I still need to do more work on the deer but I feel like getting the base done and coming back to it.

This is a 10/10 for storytelling! It’s so refreshing to see GW minis outside of the battle context, I absolutely love it! One question, the healing glow and the blue trousers are currently visually very similar, almost like there is a story connection between the two. Is this a conscious decision or just because it’s a beautiful color?

I really needed this for fur reference, thanks!

These focused, technical, deep dive videos are just killer Andy - so much helpful learning in them; please keep going with this kind of thing. The models are looking so great right now and I love the idea of a diorama showing them in a different yet still totally organic situation - can’t wait to see the finished piece. It’ll be interesting to see what the judges make of it too, and it’s great to get a truthful sense of just how much work and attention to detail goes into these high end competition pieces. Great job! 👍🏻

excellent video, and the concept for the diorama is lovely! i find it especially helpful when you include brush size, it's so hard to judge scale on video!

Thank you for addressing the "painting the shadows" question - much appreciated. I look forward to hearing more when you chat with Henry! - wonderful video.

Another fantastic video Andy - really enjoying listening to your approach and decision making process. I find this detail is missing from most other videos out there. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished piece.

Fantastic Idea for a piece Andy, love it!

Another peach of a tutorial. You have the patience of a saint with that fur. 💪

Absolutely beautiful! Can’t wait to see the finished piece. So sad I can’t be there at SPIEL, even though I live in Germany. 😢

I really like the level of detail of explanation you go into, thank you!

Don't mind the repetition of the subjects, always good to repeat stuff sometimes :) hope to see this one in real life one day!
