Hey everyone,

The final part in this series. I talk about painting the base, the rush at the end, and some personal thoughts. I wasn’t sure if I should include some of the thoughts at the end, but I have now. I hope it comes across in the way I intended.

Next week I’ll be painting some Skelingtons, army painting style!

I’ve also started my next GD entry, and I can’t wait to share that.

Thanks for the love,

Andy

The fix looks so good and I think talking through your thought process around it made for a great video. Congrats on your win!

The saddle is one of those things where once you notice it sticks out like a sore thumb. But in the grand scheme it clearly didnt matter! I certainly didnt notice until you mentioned it. "Everyone makes mistakes, I just wish it wasnt me!" is very relatable.

Congrats again Andy, thanks for being open on your feelings. Keep up the great content!

Great work Andy. Putting my question here at the end of the series because I think I must of missed it somewhere along the way - what head did you use for this Marshall?

I love seeing the process of your dioramas come together. Such amazing work.

Great video as always, and the piece turned out amazingly (regardless of the saddle - I certainly didn't notice it until it was pointed out). Definitely worth talking about the down moments, sometimes I think people might not realise how much emotion can be wrapped up in the models and the reaction to them Really enjoyed seeing the basing materials come together as well, its an area I feel like I'm really lacking in experience with - so seeing the types of materials and stages you go through building it all up was super valuable. Congratulations on the Gold!

Fantastic work Andy. I’ve enjoyed following your quest for perfect moss from the woodsman series. I would recommend the garden centre moss range from Mig, which I’ve had good experience with (albeit for army painting rather than display)

Love these GD videos, and especially you being honest about your personal journey! Thank you for sharing! It's an amazing mini and the storytelling is sublime!

Super nice! experienced a bit with different snow products which works really well for creating moss.
