Hey everyone!

You seemed to enjoy the Imperial Fists video so I thought I’d have a go at alpha legion. I made some mistakes along the way so I think I’ll try again sometime!

These look great! In the same vein; I'd love your take on a 30k Dark Angels scheme with ideas to make the black more interesting.

Nik

Oh yes! 30k dark angels would be cool for this project!

Big AL fan here, really cool to see your take on them. I will definitely give them a try with a tad less weathering I think. Though the right one would look great allied with a death guard army!

cultofpaint

Yea the powders really messed that one up, I’ll probably try again!

Robert Stroud

Another vote for Dark Angels using this process!

Salamanders to match the color plates please! More realistic army / olive green colors and less bright green would be my dream. Love your stuff, as always, Andy.

John M

Given your affinity with purple, I'd love to see you do the Emperor's Children!

Pikey

I may be alone in this, but mixing citadel and tamiya paints has blown my mind! I never would have tried that.

Question - I’ve been catching on your paints and it would appear it has been in development for years at the stage.. do you have an ETA on when they would be available for purchase? My OG P3 paint set are looking to be replaced.

Jared Bryant

Great video - really enjoyed the two options. I think I’m a bit partial to the more saturated scheme. The large decals were a revelation; I’m definitely going to give those a shot for mine!

Love what you did with the transfers on this one, the idea of putting those really nice big designs people would normally leave for a vehicle to cover a leg is a great. Really digging both these schemes. I think of the schemes that are left, as a few of them are black which would be interesting, I think the Salamanders would be the most interesting one to do with the oils and filtering you do. Love the videos guys

Thank you so much for this one! I'm so, so excited with you getting a shot at Heresy army painting and the results are a-ma-zing! The carribean on purple scheme is super interesting to look at. What's interesting for me is in the middle of the video it was visible that you rushed a little bit and weren't super clean with the brushwork but in the end - it doesn't even matter! The oils do so much of the heavy lifting that in the end both schemes ended being 10/10. Cant wait for your take on the Death Guard. I would LOVE if you took inspiration from the color plates in Betrayal black book. They have so much white on grey on dark brown contrast, absolutely delicious

Haltes

Me too! It may be a hit or miss with some colors, I've heard of X-20a thinner turning some water based acrylics to porridge, definitely worth a test before fully commiting to painting with a mix like that

Haltes

Second that - black book color plates are so, so awesome

It has taken us much longer than I wanted, but with just two of us it’s been hard to push over the line. But the wait is almost over! We are filming all the adverts in July, then it’s good to go. This summer I am sure.

Really enjoying these videos. I think there is a lot of value in understanding how you would apply the knowledge and skills you have developed on competition painting to create intelligently thought through and proportionate paint jobs for army painting. Thanks.

Good timing was going to do a test model in this style myself, Marc Raley is a great painter and super nice guy

Thank you! I’ll be first in line :). Will it be kickstarter or general release?
