Hi everyone,

A longer technique video this week. We've used power swords as the subject but it's focused on using glazes to blend. On classes we often recommend power swords as a piece to pratice this on.

The first part of the Legio Krytos article will be dropping this weekend and we'll be delivering a bunch more videos very soon.

Cheers, Henry

How to paint a Power Sword - Smooth Blends without an Airbrush!

In this core skills video, we want to show you how important brush strokes are for layering. This video aims to help you with blending, and the power sword is perfect for practicing this on. * the milky looking liquid on the pallette is water effects that was being used for some upcoming box art! Edit: I think a base coat of Dark Sea Blue with a tiny bit of Turquoise will give a better result then pure Dark Sea Blue, as it will results in a more saturated shadow. This is why it comes up during the base stage for the paint used.
