Hey everyone!

Happy to announce something new to the Patreon. The next series of tutorials will be painting the Kyria Draxus model from start to finish. We have chosen this miniature because it allows us to show some important topics that are applicable to many of your models. You will get regular tutorial videos, starting with the armour!

These videos won't be rushed so we can show you in detail how to approach each step.  We want you to be able to follow along and paint it as we upload each tutorial. Very soon a preparation video will be uploaded so you can order the model and get it ready.

You can order the model through our affiliate link at element games here:

What do you think of this idea? let us know if you are excited to follow along these tutorials in the comments below!

Love it! Great model choice and idea. Hopefully the challenge of following along and keeping up will help me break a painting rut!

Fergus Pick

Love this idea! Will definitely order and follow along :)

Miles Cheverton

I was going to buy this anyway - now ordered! How about a hashtag for insta we can use for this (or other projects) #cultofpaintmasterclass ?

Cain

Excellent news! I consider all of your videos to be high level tutorials, so am excited to see what constitutes as 'Masterclass'! I'll be grabbing a model so I can follow along. Will this be an airbrush-heavy painting process, do you think?

Sean Walsh

Looking forward to it!

Piers Meagher

Fantastic news - also like the head swap - which Sisters of battle kit?

Rob Cass

Really excited about this - have ordered the model; looking forward to the first video!

Andrew Niekamp

Looking forward to this -- going to pick up the model this weekend and paint along.

David White

Definitely up for this. Will get this ordered.

Nice. Too bad element games does not ship outside Europe, and the model is almost double the price in the US.

Rich DK

Yah definitely! Looks like it's got a bit of everything. Armor, skin, scales, face, cloak, bone. It's not my fave model but I'd love to learn the lessons involved in painting it.

DonPipio8

My bad. I'm actually not in the US, but in Panama (Central America). I managed to get one in ebay, though.

Jason Potter

I'm looking forward to this!

Olden Demon

Awesome, are we going to get a full paint list in the prep video or is it going to be more of a back and forth process for you guys to work out the colours as you progress?

Jake

Do you guys have any recommendations for getting stuff shipped to people in the US? Unfortunately, Elements doesn't ship to us.

Tony Semana

This is awesome news! I'll definitely try to follow along!

Sean Walsh

Miniature Market has it. Any place online that sells GW should have it.

Mark sanford

Awesome! Getting model ordered ASAP!

Anytime you guys used Tamiya Paints I fall in love all over again. Used some on my infiltrators today and you're absolutely right. Never have I had such a better paint flow through my airbrush so smoothly!!!🔥 Oh and I love the idea of Masterclass series. Hopefully it involves Tamiya Paints.

Liam

Used the link! Ordered!

Hunter Harris

As a completely new painter this sounds amazing!!! I can't wait.
